Notorious Boston mob boss James “Whitey” Bulger was found dead Tuesday shortly after being transferred to a federal prison in West Virginia, federal officials said.
Unnamed sources confirmed his death to the Boston Globe, NBC News and USA Today.
The cause of his death was not revealed.
Corrections officials relocated the 89-year-old from a temporary stay at a facility in Oklahoma to the high-security USP Hazelton in Bruceton Mills, W.Va. Prior to Oklahoma, Bulger had been held at US Penitentiary Coleman II in Sumterville, Fla.
A jury convicted Bulger in 2013 on 31 criminal counts for his involvement in 11 murders across the country during his time as leader of the Boston-based Winter Hill Gang. The FBI had been searching for Bulger for 16 years before his arrest.
Well, he was old and had a heart condition. Then again, his involvement with Robert Mueller and the FBI is quite interesting.

Yesterday, @JacobAWohl tweeted that according to “sources”, a scandalous story about Robert Mueller was going to break today and the Twit World then made and confirmed that there was a scheme afoot to pay people to accuse Mueller of sexual improprieties.
The Atlantic jumps in today and presents an article how the GOP offered to pay a woman and the allegations that were presented to the Special Counsel by “journalists” has now been referred to the FBI.

Whitey up and kicks the basket….the timing is priceless.
(I think Whitey probably died of natural causes brought on by his previous lifestyle, so I’m not suggesting conspiracy, I just think the media wanted to draw the conversation back to Robert Mueller and I doubt they want the narrative to come within miles of Mueller’s involvement with Whitey Bulger )

We had/have so much organized crime here. We grew up having it beaten into our heads that the Mob absolutely positively was NOT here. Yet we always knew who kept the crime out of our schools and neighborhoods.

The people who killed Representative Jim Trafficant are Very Bad Men. Rep Trafficant was always Sheriff Trafficant to us.
How is it that Mueller refers his own personal case to the FBI when for everyone else it is a local issue? Prior history? Mueller had some personal worries, took care of them in Westbygawd?
