Is Sen Grassley struggling through this already, or is it just my too-high expectations?

She “can’t recall” if she provided her therapist’s notes to the Washington Post? That was within the past two months. Sounds pretty unlikely to me.

This womyn is very good at reciting from textbooks. She learned the same stuff they taught us. She has no interpersonal skills, and has never cited interpersonal skills as a necessity for a good psycho-logist. No wonder people go to psycho-logists for years with no results.
These claims of having no knowlege of contacting Representatives and lawyers is ludicrous. There are courses in that as well. Every psycho-logist knows the likelyhood of being sued by a patient.
Btw, who better to impersonate a victim than one who is educated on how a victim behaves? This womyn has no business teaching young people. She is a danger to herself and society. And that is another educated diagnosis.
A psycho-logist is nothing more than someone you pay to be your best friend. Period.

This crap she doesn’t know who set up the polygraph, who paid for the polygraph and the total lie that this prosecutor has not asked about why does she say it was several questions when the report says she was asked two questions.
If she doesn’t move along pretty fast when they come back one of these Republican Senators needs to step in.

Of course it’s not credible…especially the part that she told no one. Yes, I know that a lot of women don’t tell of incidents which are troubling, but I can’t be that unusual. I always told someone, whether it was my mother or a friend or a co-worker or a boss.
The first time a male exposed himself to me was when I was in first grade and was playing with the neighbor’s children–two girls older than me and a boy my age plus a boy who was maybe 12. It was summer and we were all in a canvas tent set up as a space for the kids’ toys and bikes.
All of a sudden the 12 year old unzipped his pants and took himself out saying something along the lines of, “You want to see something?” I looked at him and immediately said, “I’m going to tell my mother!” The sisters and the boy tried to get me not to tell Mom but I was having none of it.
I ran home, found Mom in the kitchen and told her what happened. She walked right out the door, telling me to stay in the house (but I went outside to watch her go to the neighbor’s anyway). When she returned she didn’t tell me what she’d said to the kids but informed me I could not play with them anymore. And I never did.
And there were times at work in which guys grabbed me in the hallways trying to kiss me. I always told my co-workers. And there was an older guy who used to be very polite in person and seemingly a nice person…however, on the phone he would get dirty or proposition me. I told my co-workers about it and they said he’d done the same to them. I also told my boss and he told Eddie to cut it out, which he did for the most part but occasionally slipped back into his old ways. He didn’t get fired and I’m glad he didn’t. He was a very knowledgeable person about films and came from a family which had been in the film business since the 20s. Frankly, he was harmless, even though today he’d be canned or maybe sued by someone.
The key is…no matter how embarrassing or awful some untoward sexual encounter may be, you have to tell someone. And if it’s illegal, it must be reported to the authorities. Period.

My first sentence is a little odd…I meant to say that her testimony is not credible and I don’t believe she was so tremendously traumatized that she could not tell anyone.

My daughter had a guy try to rip her clothes off and rape her when she was in HS. She didn’t tell me or her Dad, but a year after it happened we found out about it. She had told her brother and all of her friends. She didn’t tell us because she said she was afraid one or both of us would have gone to jail.
She watched her give her statement and then told me what bs. If that is all that happened to her then she is quite the snowflake that she has PTSD. She’s also a liar that she didn’t tell, the first thing you want to do is tell someone.
BTW the boy a year later got the message without either of us going to jail that if he ever even looked crosseyed at our daughter again it would be the last time he would have the desire to force himself on another girl.

Me either. There is something here that she’s not saying. Maybe she was a slut in high school, or a problem drinker. Like I said before, the only things I keep to myself are those things I’m personally ashamed of.

I heard one of his friends from HS say she never heard of this woman before and that she wasn’t part of their posse or run in their circles. That made me wonder if maybe she has some long held resentment that she wasn’t allowed in their crowd.
Personally though from seeing pictures of her in HS I think she was the awkward teenage girl. Maybe I’m an insensitive old hag, but even if what she claims happened by someone how could that have this huge impact on your life that years later you still have issues?
Nothing really happened and honestly the whole both boys jumping on the bed sounds more like horsing around than attempted rape.

15 year old girls love drama, always have always will. If this had happened yes she would have told.
If it was true there were just her and another girl at this party with 4 boys, I can almost guarantee the two girls went together. She would not have left her friend there and if her friend saw her run out she would have followed.

Exactly, it’s insane.
I don’t know whose house it was, how I got there, how I got home. I don’t know the day, the month or if it was day or night.
My friend has medical issues she needs to take care of and I’m glad she’s taking care of those issues. (I guess that’s why she doesn’t remember…lol)
I’m scared to fly unless I’m on vacation, I don’t know who set up my polygraph or if it had to be paid for. I just know it was so long and tiring and my poor mind is so slow and tired right now.
Lawyers have to be paid, well I guess GoFundMe is going to pay them.
It was absolutely pathetic.

She cannot give a house, she does not know when people were away for the summer, giving a house would be a deadly mistake. If the story was real she would give the name of the family who owned the house where she proposes it happened.

It infuriates me. I wish they would have gotten a pitbull to go after her. She should have been confronted about her lies, especially the lies about the polygraph, her having no problem flying when she wants to fly, who was paying her lawyer. She should of have been pushed about the friend who said not only does she not remember a party like that, but she doesn’t even know Brett Kavanaugh.
That stupid mousy child voice made me want to punch her in the mouth.
I honestly don’t think this is playing well for the devil party. I waded into the liberal FB pool of family and even they are commenting how disgusting the democrats were and what they did to this man is unforgivable. Most women with husbands and sons, even liberal mothers can see if this can be done to him it can be done to the men in their life.

I haven’t listened to her speak but I am certain I would feel the same way as you. There should be consequences, severe long lasting, precedent setting consequences for this malicious vile behavior.

I disagree. No gain in being tough on the woman. She could just be crazy. She could have really had something happen to her, but it’s mistaken identity. Absolutely no positive outcome by bullying a woman.
Keep the focus on the evil Dems, and the fact that this could have been handled quietly and discreetly without the circus if Difi had just handed over the info to the FBI back in July.

I don’t believe that she is genuine. I don’t believe that Ford believes that it was Kavanaugh who assaulted her. I believe that there should be severe consequences for what she is doing. There are too many inconsistencies that I have read, she is too vague on the knowns, not remembering whose house it happened in is a huge tell in my opinion.
I’m listening to Adam’s now and his dual movie simulation.

Ford isn’t important. As soon as this is over, she will disappear. There is no way to prove that she is lying, and no gain in putting the thumbscrews to her. She doesn’t matter.
I think she is probably lying, or believes what she is saying but wrong.

I agree she isn’t important and if your larger point is that so much more is at stake that it would be politically impudent to go after her at this time I would probably agree with that. But morally I think she deserves to be punished severely for what she has done.
Or medicated to sanity.

If what has been done doesn’t turn the majority of the people in this country away from democrats then it will strengthen my belief that anyone who votes for a democrat is pure evil.
You can’t really deny it, by voting for democrats you support murdering a baby up until birth, you support denying God three times and now you support destroying a man’s life as well as his wife and two young daughters.

Finally. The lady prosecutor is asking about Ford’s “knowlege” of the chemical changes in the body (being pre-med, I learned this in biology studies). Yipee! “Chemical imbalances” are now being debunked. Bet Ford did not know that.
This Ford womyn is surprisingly stupid for one so supposedly well-educated.
Why has no one asked where was the Ford womyn’s civic duty when Judge K sat on the D.C. Circuit Court for 12 years? This is the question that really really needs answered. imo
Am I the only one who finds this entire thing offensive to my intelligence and sensibilities?

I realize I’m very biased because I have saw this entire thing for what it is from the beginning. However I do not see how anyone with half a brain could watch both hearings and not see what was done to this man was wrong. As a woman I could see how she played the damsel in distress, my mind is so tired, I’m so confused, she even added the little mousy girl voice. I’m not polite like these Senators, she’s a lying B…. and if she has any soul whatsoever she will apologize for what she has done.

None of us here believe her. I don’t think the Senators believe her either. It’s favorable for the Dems, so they support her. The Reps are trying to seem impartial.

None are apparent at the moment. Graham and some others came through this afternoon. They gave up on the woman lawyer doing the questioning of Kavanaugh; the Dems were engaged in crucifying him as a sexual predator.

I believe Graham got the Senators votes, but I believe Kavanaugh’s story about his daughter opened a few eyes and made this real not a political game.
I’m seeing never-trumpers as well as democrats saying this went too far and made it hit home that other lives were involved and accusations without proof shouldn’t ruin a man’s life or harm his children. Many saying it brought them to tears and made them look at their own sons and think about if it was them being accused without evidence.
I hope and pray this is something that’s making many stop and think and hoping it pulled on a lot of heart strings and stays with them in November.

I can’t remember where I read/heard it, but I remember something about her parents and siblings didn’t sign onto the letters for her.

Apologies, lovely. Emails went to my Dem Senator and Rep, who both received an extremely lenghty piece of my mind with vivid descriptions of their behavior and future political life.
Portman actually testified in support of Judge K, so Portman received a thanks and a request to continue with correct behavior.
