What a dog and pony show. I was a little late turning to the hearing, only to find more stalling and whining by the Dems. I believe now that they really are serious about wanting these emails because they think they can tie Kavanaugh to those stolen emails that Durbin (?) or whoever it was yesterday talked about.

I was doing pretty well until Leahy was up again, accusing the judge of lying and whatever else. He just keeps asking the same questions over and over again in an accusatory tone. Back whining about the documents again.

I can’t stand hearing Leahy’s voice, so I was watching with CC on. Who are these people who do the CC. It is a human or is it a computer generated thing? What they say is ridiculous a lot of the time.

Watch a British show with the closed captioning on sometime. I can hear what is said, but that isn’t what the CC says a lot of the time. I think a lot of it is machine generated.

I don’t like Graham going down this road on Roe V. Wade because whatever Kavanaugh answers can put him in jeopardy. I think he should leave it alone.

There is an upside to this rolling freak show.
Those who really do not care for Pres Trump’s “bombast” will see Democrats behaving much worse, and will discuss that amongst their friends.
That could only be a good thing.
One more upside – Wicked Son no longer calls me a conspiracy theorist, paranoid, or wanna-be psycho-logist (the last being technically true, sans the “wanna-be” lol).

On Thursday Harris grilled Judge Brett Kavanaugh for 7 minutes on Robert Mueller and the law firm Kasowitz Benson Torres law firm. Kamla Harris wanted to know if Judge Kavanaugh ever spoke with someone at Kasowitz Benson Torres law firm or anyone at the firm about the Mueller special counsel.
Kasowitz Benson and Torres hires 350 lawyers and has offices in several states.
After being asked about Bob Mueller Kavanaugh replied, “You ask if I ever had a discussion about Bob Mueller, I used to work in the administration with Bob Mueller.”

He’s getting tired. I would never have made it this far. He’s a man of much patience. Towards the end of Senator Blumethal’s tear jerker on gun violence, he simply said something like, “thank you for sharing your thoughts on that Senator. I’ll certainly take them into consideration.”

He tries to answer seriously when he can. What some do – Harris, the Hawaiin witch and some others – is cut him off, won’t let him finish his answers, and say that their time is running short.

Harris had some knowledge about a person he must have spoken to. She was trying to trap him into a false statement of some kind. He may have made a remark and the person was someone who worked at that law firm and he didn’t even know it. Besides, she was talking like he was a member of a jury or something who was not supposed to have any discussion outside the courtroom.
