Interesting – Sen Feinstein didn’t get her Rat party’s endorsement on Saturday, the California Rat Party endorsed Kevin de Leon instead – he’s younger (there are Galapagos tortoises that aren’t as old as she is) and more lefterer.
It’s going to be an interesting race, she’s up against a Hispanic state senator and where she has a lot of big-name Rats and buckets of money he has the party’s heart. Let’s see how this growing rift plays out.

The Chinese plate looked very blue,
And wailed, “Oh, dear! what shall we do!”
But the gingham dog and the calico cat
Wallowed this way and tumbled that,
Employing every tooth and claw
In the awfullest way you ever saw –
And, oh! how the gingham and calico flew!

Next morning, where the two had sat
They found no trace of dog or cat;
And some folks think unto this day
That burglars stole that pair away!
But the truth about the cat and pup
Is this: they ate each other up!

I think we were about in third grade when our entire class memorized that and recited it at a program for our parents. We did lots of recitations. That would have been about 1953.

Good day, WeeWeed! And did you notice that smug smile Strzok gave to the reprehensible punk Cohen. Like, “Yes, I’ve been wounded for serving my country and I’m so glad it’s being acknowledged.”
Perhaps the Dems can’t recognize a psychotic when they see one because they’re all the asylum mates.
The only thing I do not like about Melania’s fashion is her wearing Michelle’s boob belt so frequently. She should never, ever, in my opinion, wear anything distincly Michelle. The boob belt is passe and so out of date and no amount of Melania wearing it is going to make it fasionable again. It helped Michelle’s shape but distorts Melania’s.
I think Melania can wear just about anything……………….and I get a certain amount of pleasure out of seeing her looking good in a wide belt……………………..knowing it probably annoys Michelle.

I remember so well the night his plane went missing…it was a Friday and I was early to the grocery on Saturday. Telling the others standing in line about his plane being way overdue, amazingly enough no one else had heard about it. Everyone was so shocked. To those of us who were adults at the times of JFK’s and RFK’s deaths, it seemed just too much tragedy for one family, I’m sure.
I just remember feeling devastated by the news. He was eight years older than me when he died and the only Kennedy that I felt any kind of connection to. It was so shocking.
Someone went on suggestiung the presidential security team in Finland was less than professional in not keeping the Greenpeace protestor complketely away from the president, they let him get too close.
I posted back that the US had close-in security, the host nation had farther out responsibility and that security had been arranged by both countries (didn’t mention Russian coordination) weeks in advance. Also mentioned that Greenpeace had called the Finnish security and had given them a 10 minutes heads-up that the protest would occur.
So back comes someone questioning the professionalism and competence of our and the Finnish security team’s response again. Guess there’s one in every crowd.
Yeah, originally I got it right but was so … upset … at the implication that the SS and host country blew the security (and I was watching the conference) I wrote Finnish.
Oy, this lady lets ’em have it…and justifiably so….

In the end, after unfair British indictments, street-level protests, and rude treatment by left-leaning royals, it was the guy who owned the chair whose words should be President Trump’s take away from this UK visit: “You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.”
Considering? This only should have made the news AFTER his attorney had papers served on Musk.
I am sick and tired of the mindset of so many people these days: “Everyone who I want to see destroyed is a pedophile.” Enough people aren’t getting driven into bankruptcy court for those kinds of statements.
Brief and wet interlude here, 2.5″ of rain in 40 minutes. The creek that was flat at 5 PM is now arunnin’ like mad. That’s two days of over an inch in flash showers with two more days of heavy potential to go.
Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

To my mind, the chief point was enunciated by Winston Churchill in 1954: “Meeting jaw to jaw is better than war.”
As President Trump repeatedly put it during his 2016 campaign, it would be a good thing, not a bad thing, to get along better with Russia. Let me stipulate that I think that Vladimir Putin is a murderous thug. He has demonstrated time and again that while you can take the lout out of the KGB, it’s much more difficult to take the KGB out of the lout.
That said, Russia is a world power that commands an enormous nuclear arsenal. Which means we cannot—or at least we should not—simply take our marbles out of the game and go home in a snit because they do things of which we do not approve…
My poor little doggie. She has another ear infection. It may be inner ear. She started showing some symptoms last Sat. This morning she couldn’t get down the stairs because her sense of balance is all messed up. When I took her out for a walk she stumbled around like she was horribly drunk and kept falling down. Also, she was holding her head cocked to the side all the time. So, I took her to the vet and she definitely has an ear infection. But, one thing I realized was that some of the weird things that happened when she had the ear infection in the other ear were because of the ear infection, not the medicine that she took. Poor thing, she gets very upset if she doesn’t know exactly where I am at all times and she stays within a few feet of me. 😦
Poor doggy! My vet gave me an ear wash to use once a week on my Iggy. It seems to help as she hasn’t had any ear infections since we started her weekly cleaning.

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.
Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.
Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.
We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.

To my mind, the chief point was enunciated by Winston Churchill in 1954: “Meeting jaw to jaw is better than war.”
As President Trump repeatedly put it during his 2016 campaign, it would be a good thing, not a bad thing, to get along better with Russia. Let me stipulate that I think that Vladimir Putin is a murderous thug. He has demonstrated time and again that while you can take the lout out of the KGB, it’s much more difficult to take the KGB out of the lout.
That said, Russia is a world power that commands an enormous nuclear arsenal. Which means we cannot—or at least we should not—simply take our marbles out of the game and go home in a snit because they do things of which we do not approve…

My poor little doggie. She has another ear infection. It may be inner ear. She started showing some symptoms last Sat. This morning she couldn’t get down the stairs because her sense of balance is all messed up. When I took her out for a walk she stumbled around like she was horribly drunk and kept falling down. Also, she was holding her head cocked to the side all the time. So, I took her to the vet and she definitely has an ear infection. But, one thing I realized was that some of the weird things that happened when she had the ear infection in the other ear were because of the ear infection, not the medicine that she took. Poor thing, she gets very upset if she doesn’t know exactly where I am at all times and she stays within a few feet of me. 😦

Poor doggy! My vet gave me an ear wash to use once a week on my Iggy. It seems to help as she hasn’t had any ear infections since we started her weekly cleaning.
