Bezos really is cheap. Here’s a story about it in The Washington Free Beacon.
In the current economic state, what Bezos offers is pitiful:
- $10 a week in pay increases – or about 0.6 percent of the median salary and less than half the current rate of inflation.
- A 1 percent match on their 401(k) plans.
- Cutting severance pay.
Legal Insurrection has suggested that Amazon donate the money they stole from LI’s Associates account to the WAPO employees.
Sounds like a real cheapskate, not an enlightened employer, doesn’t he?

As of today Bozo’s total net worth is guestimated to be over $141-BILLION. He’s the richest person in the world and, quite arguably, the richest person in history and he can’t afford to part with the few bucks he’d be able to find in his cars’ ashtrays to pay his loyal toadies?

The union has been negotiating for a year? After a maximum of three months they should have gone on strike. Union management are lefties, no doubt, and thought one of their gods would eventually treat them fairly. Shows how brainwashed the whole lot is.
The whole project is a ego thrill for Bezos anyway. He just likes the idea of owning WaPo and gets off on putting out fake news. Employees? Expendable.
