1 Response to White House Press Briefing With Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, June 14, 2018

  1. stella says:

    From Facebook:

daddy sum up of key pts in Huckabee presser: Sara Huck’s Presser

Question 1—Any comments on the IG Report? Sara: The Pres was briefed on the IG report earlier today and it reaffirms the Prez’s suspicions about Comey’s conduct and the political bias among some of the members of the FBI…

Question 2—North Korea. Why is he now downplaying North Korea’s Human Rights record? Sara: He isn’t downplaying it.

Question 3—Is there a Trade Meeting with China today? Yes.

Question 4—Can you tell us what Human Rights abuses Trump discussed with Kim? Sara—A number of different topics.

Question 5—Guilianni, is he a distraction and can you’ll us what he and the Prez talked about? Sara: I am never going to talk about Rudy Guilianni’s love life and I won’t discuss what the and the Prez discussed.

Question 6—(Acosta) Can you tell us why the President saluted the North Koreans when he was over in Singapore? Sara: It is a common courtesy. Acosta: These children who are separated from their families when they come across the Border, the Atty Gen says there is a justification for this in the Bible. Where does it say in the Bible that it is moral to take children away from their mothers? Sara: I’m not aware of the Atty general’s comments or what he would be referencing. I can say it is very Biblical to enforce the law. That is actually repeated a number of times throughout the Bible, however (Acosta interrupts–she goes after him for interrupting) Sara: That is not what I said and I know it is hard for you to understand even short sentences I guess, but please don’t take my words out of context, but the separation of illegal alien families is the product of the game Legal Loopholes that democrats refuse to close, and the Laws are the same that have been on the books for over a decade and the president is simply enforcing them. (Acosta interrupts again Why is the Government doing this?). Sara: Because it is the Law and that is what the Law states. And you are right,it doesn’t have to be the law and the president has called on Democrats in Congress to fix that loophole.Dems have failed to come to the table…The president has tried to address it a number of times. Demi simply refuse to do their job and fix the problem.

Acosta interrupts. Sara: Sorry Jim. Next question?
