Surprise birthday party for President Trump in Singapore

His birthday isn’t until June 14 (Flag Day; how appropriate!), but the hosts in Singapore surprised him with a celebration.

“We appreciate your hospitality and professionalism and your friendship,” Trump reportedly said in response. “You’re my friend,” the president told Prime Minister Lee. The meal also included lobster bisque, beef tenderloin and ice cream.

In one scene from the event, Trump can be seen blowing out the cake’s sole candle. We can all probably guess what the president wished for.

“We’ve got a very interesting meeting in particular tomorrow, and I just think it’s going to work out very nicely,” Trump said Monday.
