President Trump Hosts a Joint Press Conference with the Prime Minister of Japan

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is visiting the White House on Thursday to impress upon President Donald Trump Japan’s interests ahead of Trump’s historic summit next week with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

The U.S. and Japanese leaders are scheduled to hold about two hours of talks and a joint press conference.

Before departing for Washington, Abe said his government wants to see progress on limiting North Korea’s nuclear program and ballistic missile work, and he wants Trump to discuss with Kim the issue of Japanese nationals who were kidnapped by North Korea during the 1970s and 1980s.

Scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm EDT

  1. Lucille says:

Here’s hoping Prime Minister Abe is a strategic thinker and offers President Trump a good sounding board. I’m sure China was heavily discussed…and how the sweet public face of the Panda is showing at the moment but underneath is expansionism and theft wherever they can get away with it. China is the challenge and will continue to be for all of President Trump’s eight years. Russia is such small potatoes in comparison

Look for many lefties to turn actual traitors in selling out America to the Chinese government because all of them hate us so.
