BLOOMBERG:

Joshua Holt’s release, which hadn’t been previously reported, came less than a day after Republican Senator Bob Corker met with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in Caracas.

Maduro was shown shaking hands with Corker in images broadcast on state TV from the presidential palace, which said the two were “strengthening international relationships,” without offering more details.

Corker then walked out alongside Carabobo State Governor Rafael Lacava, who’s said to have visited Washington earlier in the year to discuss the release of Holt, a former Mormon missionary arrested in Caracas about 18 months ago, after he traveled there to marry his Venezuelan girlfriend.

I remember a time when you felt being an American was some protection overseas. It became clear under Obama that ceased to be true. I think it is coming back.

How wonderful! Be willing to talk to anyone to bring Americans home. We know our President will not give concessions to dictators; so we are assured that Venezuela won’t be getting millions of our dollars as would happen under other administrations.

Next up: Pastor Andrew Brunson. And I’m sure they are working on it since he is represented by the ACLJ–Jay Sekulow’s organization.

Well the beer bets are going on how long it will take for the Venezualan economy to collapse entirely – it’s hanging on by its fingernails now. Bets are the economy will collapse before the beer gets cold.
Perhaps the newly sham-elected VZ president has seen that acting civilized instead of like an ignorant, poetulant child-ass gets you further vwith Trump than it did our previous Baathist American-hating dicktator. That little, teeny top-of-the-tail previouis VZ horse apple president thought he could wag the American dog but all he was wagging was the Kenyan dawg.
Watch for Trump to squeeze Chavez II out of office, return VZ to a more democratic route and show them how free and democratic countries create wealth rather than stealing it.

It’s wonderful that President Trump mentioned Pastor Brunson, too. I clapped and cried in thanks.
