Thanks. I was watching this on FOX and, unfortunately, they kept talking over the speakers. I started to get upset, but then I was sure it would be posted here in full. 😀

Nowadays we are besieged by “symbolism” and “symbolism” is part of “form”. But “form” is only worthwhile if it directly relates to progress for the better. Libs who are obsessed by taking down statues or renaming institutions (i.e. George Washington, etc) are obsessed by “form” that doesn’t lead to anything. It only serves as a “venting bag” for the past–NOT progress for the future. It is based on destruction in lieu of the more difficult to attain– “construction”. But today in Jerusalem we see how “form” and “symbolism” can be a part of “function”–because President Trump is ALL ABOUT “function” and looking toward the future. Building the US Embassy in Jerusalem is the symbolic gesture (that no other POTUS has had the guts to do)–that will hopefully put that matter to rest. The Palestinians are being incited by Hamas into a high pitched fever of anger–that is a reaction to “symbolism”. They are choosing to ignore the statement POTUS Trump, Netanyahu, and Ambassador Friedman all have said : “This is not a dictum on borders or anything more–it should be seen as a first step toward “FUNCTION”–and peace.
