What a massive contrast in administrations. A 2am flight arriving in the US w/hostages from a terrorist regime in order to negotiate a de-nuke plan. Compared to a 2am flight going out of the US w/pallets of cash to a terrorist regime seeking nukes chanting “death to America”

What a wonderful moment in history. The pastor, Kim Dong Chul, walks haltingly…no mention of whether that’s his normal gait orif it’s because of the hard labor he was subjected to.
Upon googling, most of the dated stories are prior to the landing, almost as though Google were listing articles as minimally as possible. Leftwing THE GUARDIAN included this dissing sentence in their report, “After welcoming the captives home, Trump tweeted video clips of himself congratulating the men aboard Air Force One.” You know very well if it had been Obama they would have phrased it much differently along with effusive praise.

Another thought…
It was certainly decided beforehand that Vice President Pence and the 2nd Lady would not accompany the President and First Lady into the aircraft. It might even have been his suggestion to remain in the background.
He knows this is the President’s moment on a larger scale, but he also knows that on an intimate scale it would mean a great deal to the three men to be met by the President of the United States and the First Lady with no entourage accompanying them.
I like the Vice President a great deal. He’s an honorable man in every respect. His servant’s heart serves him well.
