   And thank heaven we DON’T have tough defamation laws like England does – England still has a sense of public propriety we lost long ago.
   Look at the suits cogging our civil courts as it is – add ‘stronger’ defamation laws and that fulminating horde of tort lawyers would be whipping themselves into exhaustion filing suits over the slightest perceived insult. Think of those hollow Hollyyork celebs who could sue Trump over anything (remember the ‘standards’ od evidence in a civil suit), get publicity and stroking from their slavish, fawning devotees and probably even taker it off of their taxes. Rat stRATegists would have yet another tool to tie up government and even what little’s getting done from getting done.
   Nope, I’m for bringing back the Code Duello and letting the litigants go at it in a manner designed to have finality. No dragged out appeals, no extensions of trial and no lawyers getting fat off of the stupidity and arrogance of others – two go in, one comes out. That would shorten the courts’ dockets markedly and make for a more polite society.

   Talk about PTrump talking to Muehler makes me sick to my stomach. I will be glad when this is over. I’m just not as tough as PTrump. 🙄
