      My aunt in Wyoming raised sheep & hired Hungarian shepherds to take them out to high pastures every spring-summer. When it was time to go, sometimes she had to go into the bars & drag them out h self to get hem on their way. Guess Wyoming doesn’t have this ceremony. P.S., she was about 5′ tall and a former schoolteacher, which is probably why she knew how to manage latecomers….

        On my first trip to southern Colorado, we jeeped into the San Juans high country, and saw Basque shepherds living with their sheep in the mountains. I’ll bet it is beautiful as well as frightening (they have tremendous thunder storms in the high country).

        We had Basque shepherds working flocks in Utah. They’d get drunk and every now and then steal another shepherd’s working dog and turn it into the pound as a stray. I guess things get boring when you’re stuck up in the mountains with sheep all day.
        PS: We have a farm about three miles from us that has a pretty good flock of sheep, not exactly a common sight in coastal Mississippi. Can’t help but wonder what it’s like to be a sheep dressed in thick wool during a coastal Mississippi summer.

    I have a one-month subscription to the New York Times, and I have already cancelled any renewal. This is an example of the email OP-Ed’s I get every day. Usually I don’t bother to read them, and just delete when they show up in my IN box. Thought I would show you this one – a character assassination of Rudy Giuliani, who has been brave enough to join the President Trump defense team. This one was written by David Leonhardt. The examples that I have read over the past couple of weeks convince me that the NYT readers and writers live in an alternative universe. They find a way to report every positive event in a negative way.

    Much about Rudy Giuliani’s Fox News interview last night is still unclear — including whether he helped or hurt his client, President Trump.
    But one thing is clear: Giuliani has forfeited any claim to being a patriot who believes in this country’s system of law and government. He is now going out of his way to besmirch honest law-enforcement officials who present a risk to Trump. Giuliani, like Trump, has decided that the law is an instrument of power, not justice.
    “Giuliani just referred to federal law enforcement agents from the district where he used to be US attorney as ‘stormtroopers,’ ” Matt Miller, a former Justice Department official, tweeted last night. “What a despicable human being he is.”
    For anyone who remembers Giuliani’s years as mayor of New York — which included a lot of good and a lot of bad, but never sank to these depths — his new job as Trump’s enforcer is a sad sight to behold.

      My response to the NYT and their Mexican investor who loves to make money here…except the NYT is still hemorrhaging money and can’t hemorrhage integrity because it never had any….

      You can’t fight the DoJ’s misuse of power with a sword of justice – it’s like fighting jackals with a switch broom.
      Methinks the anti-Trumpers are a bit worried that Giuliani’s in there, he’s a professional pit fighter with experience and knowledge of how the government and its shadow remoras play dirty behind the scenes. Last thing they want is one of their own types in there nipping at their heels on the way to their throats. Gives us extra time to keep reloading.

      Giuliani or President Trump came up with a clever strategy which is of course what annoys the bejeebers out of the NYT’s and other MSM sources.

      President Trump said that the $130,000 came out of Cohen’s retainer. Technically not what a retainer really is, but lawfully it is a genius move. President Trump just dotted the i and Cohen will cross the t. This is the only move in this situation. Cohen used his clients’s personal money to put out a fire which is what attorneys of billionaires do with their clients money. Perfectly legal.

      Mueller illegally raiding the office, home, electronics and safety deposit box of Cohen showed President Trump just how weak the democrats and Mueller are at this moment.

      Democrats are between a rock and a hard place.

    I heard this on Tucker Carlson tonight. I can hardly believe it. Talking about teachers teaching our children. Here’s what a superintendent does. They finally caught who was pooping and urinating on the rival school’s football field. 🙄

    I am finally starting to feel human again. I had to break down and go get some antibiotics and think they’re starting to kick in.
    I can even speak a little now, still very hoarse and raspy but at least sort of have a voice. Yes, not being able to talk has about drove me nuts. lol

      We’ve had the Dreaded Blue Gom-Boo going around here, everyone was sick. Upper respiratory, enough phlegm to pave a road and that general overall feeling thay you woke up and found Obama was still in office. I was at my nephrologist who said my kidneys were jes fione but I sounded like **** and needed a Z-Pack. He tossed me a scrip and that was that………And my corporate primary doc wonders why I prefer my ex-military dox in private practice.

        We went south, so apparently I caught something different than made it’s way around here.
        I don’t think in my lifetime I’ve ever had mucus like this. I think the antibiotics has killed the bacterial, but the viral is still hanging on. I got almost no sleep last night from coughing so bad. My DH has caught it now, so neither of us got much sleep last night from coughing. I tried every home remedy last night and cough syrup, nothing helped.

          Yup, guaifenesin dm and I became goooooood friends. BTW, you can also buy straight guaifenesin and load it with the gf dm, an overdose of gf is best described as a pallet of it falling on you from two stories. Drink lotsa liquids with it and it thins the goop. A Z-Pack finally killed my unwanted guest.

            It’s not working for me, I have everything you can buy over the counter, plus every home remedy known to man.
            The only thing Dr. said he could give prescription wise that would be different from OTC is stuff with codeine. I can’t take codeine, so that’s out.
