I am ever so grateful that Comey is so arrogant that he wrote a book, admitted to leaking classified documents, removing classified documents from the FBI, contradicted himself, deeply insulted Clinton lackey Loretta Lynch and on and on….

                    Corrupt people covering their butts. Comey is a political genius, I believe it was Newt who said that Comey has very few who could rival his political street fighting skills.

                    I believe Comey is a sociopath, after I came to that conclusion I saw Newt talking about Comey and how Comey had learned to emote and mimic emotions to manipulate people form a young age. That in my mind means Newt and I are on the same page.

                    Comey is brilliant, not tethered to morality, he is greedy and arrogant enough to believe he could get away with anything.

                    None of the Democrat Elites thought that Hillary would lose, they didn’t have a plan for President Trump’s quiver because they didn’t how full it is with the damning facts of their lives.

                    Watch Comey, he is always making his face and voice reflect what he thinks are the proper emotions from “Aw gee shucks I’m a dandy fellow” to “Putin hates Clinton.”

                    I know I seem odd sometimes when I jump on a particular phrase or moment in a political figures life but sometimes a moment reveal a million things about a person. “Putin hates Clinton” was one of those moments for Comey.

                    Rubio’s face when Trump revealed his money laundering scheme through the sale of his house was that moment for Rubio.

                    Jeb “Please clap” Bush wore his defeatism on his face 90% of the time.

                    Hillary Clinton has a hundred such moments of revealing her true self.

                    President Trump holds nothing but contempt for Hillary Clinton. A picture is worth a thousand words.

How about women line up and own the fact that, from the dawn of time, many of them have fawningly traded their bodies off to men for money, opportunities (looking at you, Hollywood and media) and just to be close to fame and fortune and power.

    A friend of mine, yet again, died last week. I just found out yesterday, because I’m not into social media. A Marine, he and his wife were daily customers at my former restaurant. Black guy, and not as older than he seemed to be. First time I met him, I was going into work and I saw his Marine bumper-sticker on his car, and his “Don’t Believe the Liberal Media” sticker.

    He and his beau were (are, in her case) also retired college professors. Every single day, for the last 10 years, he shook my hand and said, “Nice hat.”, and we discussed current politics, and agreed on most points. He would have been at home here or at CTH, and with many of our regulars. He wore Porkpie hats, too, and fedoras, when he wasn’t wearing either a Vet or NAVY or Marine ballcap.

    I found this at Vox Popli comments today. And it’s so true. Pray for his wife.

    Aging brings many lessons.

    Compassion.
    Patience.
    Gratitude.
    Joy.

    If you ignore these the alternatives are harsh.

    He had all these. He’s a black dude, right? Yup. He’s an American, foremost.

    It was so unexpected, and I wish I could have spoken with him for hours, instead of a few minutes every day, about all sorts of topics.

    I’m Alt-Right. So was he. I guess we’re both racist or something.

        He was in his late 70’s. He had a wonderful life. Like both my grandparents, I wish I could have picked his brain, and sat, and listened to him answer, for hours and hours.

        His wife is also a superintelligence, also a retired professor, and they were inseparable. I expect there will be a multi-gun salute at his funeral. There should be at our restaurant, right outside, in honor of this Marine. Yes, we’ll prolly be arrested for that. I don’t care.

        It’s hard to believe he’s gone.

        I’ll see him again, I’m sure.

        i tried to turn him on to CTH a few — okay, many — years ago, as he was of a similar mindset to most of us in this rare commentariat, but he had other sites, and shortwave radio, and wasn’t much into interaction in those media. Just watching, and loving everyone. I wish I could have shined his shoes, even once.

    I think that we should increase the voting age, for every election for public office, to five years more than the required age to hold that office. Maybe even ten years more.

      That would keep me from voting.

      TBH, Age doesn’t matter. What should happen is that every four years a person who wants to vote should be required to take a test. Make it easy: 20 questions chosen at random from the US citizenship test. You score lower than 15, you don’t get to vote. And every four years you have to re-take the test.

      The problem isn’t that people of a certain age do or don’t vote, it’s that people who know nothing go out and vote.

        Also, voting more than once, and all the mechanism behind that, even for the bus drivers, is automatic jail time. One year for the first offence. Two for the second. Four for the third. Eight for the fourth.

        Not until Christ returns will outright lying be illegal. Even by the little activists. It’s actually encouraged and paid for by demons like Soros and the GOP and the Deep State, from Kindergarten through PhD, to Government “work”.

        The 11th amendment for the Bill of Rights should be “Lying is prohibited.”

        Bruce Jenner is not a woman. The state is not allowed to force you to say that he is, nor is anyone else, be they your employer or otherwise.

        The Soviets figured this out a long time ago. Force the people to repeat your lies. It’s not about convincing them you’re right, it’s about demoralizing them and making them abjectly afraid to not repeat the lies.

          We don’t need to waste jail space (and, more importantly, money) on people who vote more than once under my plan. Under my plan, you vote fraudulently, you’ve also voted for the last time. Your right to vote is revoked forever.

          But if you do try and do it again, second offense is being put stocks outside the courthouse. Third offense is tarring and feathering. Fourth offense is public flogging.

          …Maybe I got the order on the last two reversed.

          Jail doesn’t seem to deter people too much so we’ll have to get more creative.

      I don’t know. I was a Criminal Justice major, so I got to hear all about the “school to prison pipeline” (IDEA: Stay in school, get educated, become a productive member of society and you won’t got o prison) and the complaints about how private prisons exploit prisoners by making them work, or something like that. I don’t even remember.

      I remember angst about the treatment of prisoners, which is fine, but I was more interested in who helping the victims.
