The day started with a working lunch between the president and Abe. They will offer media availability and end the day with a dinner together.
According to USA Today, President Trump began meetings with Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe on Tuesday by saying he supports a conversation between North and South Korea to put a formal end their six-decades-long state of war.
With Abe standing next to him, Trump claimed he plans to meet with Kim but raised the possibility the summit might be called off because of a lack of agreement over an agenda.
The Trump-Abe summit began hours after reports that North and South Korea are negotiating a statement to formally end the war that began in 1950.
North Korea’s nuclear weapons program is a prime topic of Trump’s meetings with his Japanese counterpart.

U.S. News & World Report said that President Donald Trump and Japan’s Shinzo Abe made time for a round of golf during their Mar-a-Lago summit.
The leaders arrived at Trump International Golf Club, a Trump-owned course, in West Palm Beach early Wednesday morning.
Trump and Abe are both avid golfers and played last year at another Trump course, in Jupiter, Florida.
They also partook in a round of “golf diplomacy” at the Kasumi Country Club when Trump visited Japan last year.

Lordie, people in Palm Beach sued Trump over his daring to allow black and Jewish members at Mar-a-Lago, I imagine they’re having apoplectic fits over a Jap in their enclave.
