Child Arrested for Sharing Photo of Toy Gun on Social Media That He Got for His Birthday
Woodbridge, Connecticut – A teenage boy was arrested and detained for the crime of posting a photo on social media of a toy gun he received as a birthday gift. Despite the fact that the photo included a “Warning” sticker on the gun, which stated that it was a toy, the student was suspended from school and treated as a criminal.
Then when Cassidento went to school, he said he was taken out of class and a school resource officer took his possessions and searched him for weapons after a student reported the photo to school authorities.
“They took my phone and my backpack and pulled me into the office, out into the hallway where the officer told me to put my hands out and he checked me,” Cassidento said.
The student’s mom, GraceAnne Cassidento, told WTNH that she was shocked when he heard how her son was treated, and she believes there was no malicious intent in his decision to share a photo of the toy gun with his friends.
“He was arrested because he posted a picture of what he got for his birthday which is an airsoft gun,” Ms. Cassidento said. “If he would have gotten a skateboard he would have taken a picture of a skateboard.”

Parents instead of being outraged that they did it to their kids, needs to take back control of their kids. Remove them from the clutches of government ran schools.

Much easier for modern parents to dump their kids onto the state for acculturation, too many fun and distracting things to do otherwise.

It infuriates me because not only are they turning children into zombies and commies, but they’re not getting an education. I know this because I see far too many teachers who can’t do simple math, can’t write proper sentences and can’t spell simple words. You can’t teach what you don’t know how to do.
LikeLike
Probably because too many parents are as bad as the teachers. Makes me wonder why some of these people even bother to have kids.

One reason someone actually said to me: “So they’ll take care of me when I’m old.” I thought “Ya – right”, but it’s sad to see that somehow, I’m guessing through guilt and brainwashing, these narcissistic parents DO get their children to take care of them, even though they did not treat their children right..

Most of the time it’s just a case of seeing a video referenced in the sidebar when I’m watching another vid. I’d been viewing a vid on 1930s GE kitchen appliances, which was found after watching a vid on the San Fernando Valley (Los Angeles) in the 1930s-40s. LOL! Jes’ wastin’ time!

Me, too! Now I wish I’d purchased a porcelain Hoosier on sale at my favorite consignment store in Santa Monica, CA. Strangely enough, while I was taking a few days to think about it, the 1994 Los Angeles earthquake occurred and demolished the store which was in an old house…came right off its foundation and collapsed, ruining all the beautiful contents.

Amazing full moon last night. Cat got me up around dawn – food issues – and I went outside to see why the strange light. The full moon was at the position to catch the sun just before it broke the horizon and it was just glowing with the light.
It was bright enough about 4 AM (a dog that time) to where you could just about make out colors – or bright enough to imagine them. There were distinct shadows with sharp edges and clear outlines…how did I ever spoend so much time in the city and miss this all?

We’re repurposing stuff…hey Bubba, watch this!
We have tons of cardinals and like to feed them on the patio. Problem is we have a cat that think the patio is his. Generally he sits on a chair and watches the cardinals and these cardinals have to contend with a host of natural predators so they’re quite competent but we still don’t like the chances of one getting nailed.
We have a pole and dish left over from our miserable experience with HughesNet. When you split the sheets with them they have you send the xcvr assembly back but you have the dish and pole forever. We were looking at mounting a feeding platform on top of the pole but while I was removing the dish Czarina came up with the solution – just rotate the dish 90 degrees to horizontal and use it as the freeding tray. That works – not the tool/construction-heavy solution I was looking st, but it works. One less satellite dish littering the rural dump and it’s already there, no need to add anything.
As a sop I do get to drill holes in the dish for drainage and install some screen so it’s not a total loss…

NOLA DA is up and squawking about juvenile armed robbery. Judges aren’t handing out stiff sentences to the thugettes (just last week a judge gave a juvie charged with 5 armed robberies a 1 year sentence) and there’s a vocal section of the community whining mightily about violent juveniles being shunted to criminal court and charged as adults.
There are judges that won’t sentence juvies as they feel there are too many young black males in jail and some who feel they be de-praved on accounta they be de-prived. No word from the prog bench about how many innocent civilian deaths are accepotable in the quest to civilize these feral pups but it seems the judicial branch feels that civilian deaths are less of a concern than trying to salvage this urban waste.

Milwaukee has had a spate of car-jacking by future astronauts of Wisconsin over the past couple of years.
Mostly the car-jackers are minors, or early twenties with long histories of crime, but the mayor or the police chief (can’t remember which lug-head, has said “Aw come on they’re just out joy riding, they don’t mean any real harm.” Always they have a gun, just “yutes”. So since they are never really punished with more than a “tsk tsk” the thugs are pretty brazen.
Anyhow in February a young thug, Carlos D. Martin, decided to carjack a car that tickled his fancy and so he approached the car gun in hand. Surprise, surprise! Carlos! the car owner was carrying a lovely gun and had a conceal carry permit. Good guy shoots Carlos dead.
It’s already been decided that no charges will be filed against the law abiding citizen.

Don’t have to imagine it, every now & then the New Orleans news shows a video or interview about someone who has been hijacked by a thug who got into the car & couldn’t figure how to work it. Some are just flummoxed, yelling out “what’s wrong with this car?”, others angry. Makes it easy to shoot them, although no station has shown that video.

the old adage was “do not drop your chewing gum in the chicken yard” which is easily understood by folks hanging about chickens not sporting a coat of crisp batter and a gravy bath waiting for their parts.

solution for these troubled young black men in the USA has usually been to have a war and draft them into the military and send them to go shoot someone outside the nation where there are no 7-11 stores to rob and perhaps they get euthanized by the enemy thereby reducing the future spawning of more juvenile delinquents. heck, Planned Parenthood was created to solve the problem in the outset, but what to do with the older ones that refuse to be tamed and civilized…war helped control the problem perhaps….cynical and disgusting as it is…

Student Launches Pro-Life Walkout: ‘I Want to Test if There’s a Double Standard’
Breitbart has more info,
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/03/30/student-launches-pro-life-walkout-want-test-theres-double-standard/
but Fox has this comment:
“But not every student is on board for the alternative walkout. “Abortions aren’t really anything that has to do with school or students,” said student newspaper editor Naeirika Neev. “They have their First Amendment, they can go protest about that anytime, anywhere.” Gillespie says that’s the point.”
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/03/23/high-school-students-plan-pro-life-march-after-walkout-debate.html
“Gillespie says he was inspired by history teacher Julianne Benzel, who was placed on administrative leave when she asked students to consider whether there was a double standard over protests on school grounds between gun control and abortion.”
The walk out is planned for April 11 at the same time for the same 17 minutes. I guess 55 million minutes would be too long.

solution to snowflakes and activist teachers doing a planned “walk out” is merely to enact a simultaneous entire school building fire drill, so the walkers find themselves in a herd of all the students and lose their moral attention getting high ground of visibility….

Hehe!!!! That’s funny. I need to get those movies for my grandson. I had them on VHS and my girls wore them out when they were little. 😊

Got this announcement from my online security company…
What happened at Under Armour®?
The athletic wear company announced Thursday that an unauthorized party gained access to the data tied to its fitness app, MyFitnessPal. The breach, which took place late February 2018, affected approximately 150 million user accounts.
The related information that was accessed includes:
• Usernames
• Email addresses
• Hashed passwords
The company is urging MyFitnessPal app users to update passwords immediately.

Yesterday, the aol weather report said we were supposed to get rain, 100% chance. We haven’t had any rain in so long. It rained in Central FL while I was at the beach, but none of it fell here even then. Anyway, I was so excited…..but, nothing happened. Still no rain. And, I keep thinking about globull warming. They keep telling us to worry about something that will happen in the far future and they can’t even get tomorrow’s forecast right.

A Facebook friend paints these stones, and leaves them all around the town for people to find. I don’t know why, but aren’t they pretty?

Very cool Stella…..and leaving them for others to ‘find’….what a great way to brighten someone’s day.

What she says about it (her name is Kathryn):
It seems somewhat stupid (?) to spend so much time painting on rocks (up to 5 hours on 1? Duh?) that are picked up by strangers, sometimes children. I just feel that’s what God wants me to do right now (well, in addition to some other projects. ) Everyone seems so angry right now, so separated. Just. Blessings. That’s all.

Stone Age Thinking
Reason is a fragile thing. Like a tiny, dainty woodland sprite, it can be stomped into a crushed, broken ruin by the mighty foot of ignorance employed by those cynically seeking to advance their agendas. We see this every day, and the biggest feet dancing with hobnailed boots upon poor Reason wherever it tries to peep out of the undergrowth belong to the Progressive Left. Consider a recent example.
David Hogg, who has turned surviving the Parkland massacre into a career, is vilifying the NRA for “murdering” his fellow students. He likes to use obscenities in his speechifying and proudly sports a “We Call B.S.” lapel pin, because using vulgarities makes him feel like an adult who knows what those words mean. Polite debate isn’t for him. He’s a passionate spouter of truth, and if you don’t like obscenities, you must be, like, really old and stuff. So shut up while he figuratively slaps you around with naughty words his mom should have told him he shouldn’t use. She probably didn’t expect the nation’s media to gleefully encourage her boy to go blue…

I just ran across this recipe, and it looks good, although I haven’t tried it yet. Thought immediately of Col. Ken and Menagerie!

Saved it, thanks! Can’t wait to try that for breakfast. The kids and I made tons of bread today. Lots of challah bread, braided and twisted rolls, and also the cinnamon walnut filled twists.
We have a kitchen with bread on every surface available. For awhile there was a tray on top of the coffee maker!

I’ve been lazy in comparison. I did make one loaf of my bread machine Italian bread, though. Made chicken and baby broccoli for supper. Did you try your lamb roast yet?

It’s in the oven now. Smells so good!
Did you like that challah bread you made? I am going to try to remember to take a picture of one of the loaves I braided yesterday. I made a large one especially for our dinner (showing off). The darned thing got so enormous that I have no platter or board to put it on. It’s a long as the cookie sheet is diagonal.
Sadie absolutely loved making the braids and then using them in loaves and rolls. It just thrilled her to get to do something new with bread. She brought her apron and rolling pin over yesterday and was ready to go!

The challah I made was very good tasting, but I think I should have given it another rise, as the texture was a bit close, I thought. I also may have braided it too tightly. Still, it was a success, and I’d enjoy trying it again.
I’m in awe of your massive bread effort, and it is so nice that Sadie was able to help.

lilbirdee12’s prayer:
Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.
Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.
Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.
We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.
In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
