Waiting to see if Saudis take Trump seriously as he will be up for election against a very determined corrosive Rat party. I”m betting the Saudis are out shopping (China???) for IRBMs and looking around to see if they can buy or have to develop nukes.
Iran’s got the bomb – question is: how many. The US is the Saudi’s major protection and I have a sneaking suspicion that Israel’s told Iran that the Saudis are under their shield too.
Saudis were bomb shopping after Iraq invaded Kuwait, I’m feeling bthat to keep Israel andvthe Saudis comfortable it let Israel and Iran know we were going to protect the Saudis so Riyadh wouldn’t be buying nukes.

What the heck is the deal with Assad cruising Syria in an unarmed car? Is he just putting on a show that “he” killed all the radical Islamists? And the streets of Syria are once again safe?
You can bet that his troops and the vRussians cleared everyone except knownn entities from the area. Putin wouldn’t let his important puppet risk his life, he’s Putin’s political bitch. This was a political move meant gto show the Syrians he’s there, isn’t afraid and is in control.
Israel and the Saudis have grown…friendly…and that’s suspicious. As friendly bas thev two get I’m not seeing the Wahhabist mullahs raising hell.
The Israelis can’t afford for Iran to destabilize Saudi Arabia and the Saudis want as much guaranteed security as they can get. Israel’s the only nuke game in the area and Iran hates Israel only about a slice moire than they do the Saudis. A match made in Mecca.

The Israelis need a safe home. I believe President Trump’s America will defend both. I know Saudi Arabia continues to be guilty of horrific crimes against humanity but it seems that President Trump and the reality of the modern world is dragging them toward the inevitability of more civilized behavior.

I’m watching to see what kind of alliance Israel makes with Turkey. Turkey’s the most powerful military presence in the Mideast though it doesn’t have nukes either. Turkey and Israek are talking and that could give Turkey the edge in a confrontation with Iran who’s also nuked. If Israel, SA and Turkey could make a compact Iran would really start to get nervous.

Nobody on the entire planet took Obama seriously, including their party. They all knew that he was a lie, that every word out of his mouth was potentially a lie, and they all knew that he was a drugged puppet, beholden to Jarrett, Soros, Ayers, et al.
Trump is formidable, and truthful, and not beholden to anyone but America herself.
The Saudi royal family aren’t fools, they’re realists, they know their reign heavily depends on their being able to vomit huge amounts of oil money into the Wahhabist clergy and the people on the streets.
They see the endless drumbeat of attacks against Trump and how the other main political party in the US is spending more time on undermining Trump than it is co-governing and they see thast doesn’t make for a stable ally.
They see China’s just told the US that if we interfere with their absorption of Taiwan they’ll take military action against the US for interfering with their internal affairs. They see Russia once again, nearly 30 years after the end of the Cold War, saying it has nukes it will use against the US. They see North Korea threatening not only the US directly but the US’s main ally in the Pacific Jaspan. This isn’t stability.
Foreign nations act in their own best interests too and one of their best interests isn’t getting caught between the US and other nations in an international power struggle. The Saudis know that we’re their best customer and Russia is maneuvering to take the number one slot in gas and oil, the royal family needs stability and right now the US and Russia are stomping around in the Saudi back yard. That ain’t stability.
Ain’t gonna get better until we either destroybthe vLeft or they destroyb us. Pronlem I see is that the Left is getting a helluva lot of support from outside of the US while the Right isn’t.
We blew our chances from ’89 to about ’93 to bring the Russians into our fold, they were sick of Communism and were looking for a viable alternative. We let them rot on the shelf, once again grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory.
Putin and his clique took oil monies and gave the population capitalism with a totalitarian hook buried in it, we could have managed their oil industry and brought the people into that strange land of democracy they still aren’t familiar with, making them a valuable ally instead of that decades old enemy.
