U.S. House and Senate Republicans are attending a legislative retreat at The Greenbrier resort, owned by the family of West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice, January 31-February 2.
The conference is closed to the public and the media.
The Greenbrier is a luxury resort built in 1913, and located in the Allegheny Mountains. It is also the site of a massive underground bunker built in the late 1950’s that was meant to serve as an emergency shelter for the US Congress during the Cold War. The bunker was code named “Project Greek Island”.

Mike Pence– sweet man, a man of faith, a man who loves people, who encourages and, yes, can do a rah-rah portion of a speech with the best of them. And I’m sure President Trump appreciates his prayers, knowing that whatever counsel he’s asked for, he is happy to give.
