It’s happening again, and I don’t understand why.

Immigrants entering the United States illegally through the southern border are quietly being relocated to different parts of the country on commercial flights, high-ranking Homeland Security officials told Judicial Watch this week. In the last few days alone, groups of illegal aliens boarded planes at airports in Texas and Arizona accompanied by a taxpayer-funded government escort in civilian clothes to avoid drawing attention. The first flight originated at Valley International Airport in Harlingen, Texas and was bound for Minneapolis. The second left from Tucson International Airport and arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah, federal sources said. In both locations the illegal aliens appeared to be in their late teens and were escorted by a Health and Human Services (HHS) chaperone. Judicial Watch reached out to HHS for comment but did not hear back from the agency.
The illegal aliens wear red HHS wrist bands and receive “the gold glove treatment,” according to a veteran federal official, who added that the undocumented immigrants get priority boarding ahead of all other passengers, including law enforcement personnel. “It is shameful and dangerous,” said a seasoned Homeland Security agent with direct knowledge of the secret operations. Labor personnel from front-line Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agencies have complained about the cost and security risk of flying illegal alien minors to any destination of their choosing within the U.S., according to a longtime Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official present at the meetings. One of the closed-door meetings, late last year, included President Donald Trump and his chief of staff, John Kelly.
Is our government betraying us, the citizens of The United States? Judicial Watch thinks so, and it is concerning.
In a recent newspaper article Border Patrol agents in Texas say they’ve been ordered to release illegal immigrants caught entering through Mexico because there is no bed space at detention facilities. This has provoked a surge in illegal crossings, Border Patrol officials say, because there is no punishment to deter the lawbreakers.

As to why? The realist in me says it’s because someone in authority wants it to happen. Their reasons for wanting it to happen are tied to their superiors’ marching orders. Their superiors’ marching orders are tied to either policy snafus or procedural directives that haven’t been clearly identified yet by staff who actually support Mr. Trump’s policy directives.
Turning a very large ship leaves a lot of room for monkey business in the hall ways.
I always knew that nothing would change in our nation unless the POTUS had the willingness to do a scorched earth cleanup of the agencies and bureaus. I think Mr. Trump has the willingness. The reality of doing it is not so simple.
Which means it may not be done in time to save us from much of the ongoing destruction. All the excitement this week about the memo and the ongoing flood of paperwork detailing what obama’s people did just makes me tired – because all of that paperwork does NOT equal removal of the consequences of what they have done. And all of the policy statements about immigration does not equal removal of the millions of non-Americans who have been puked onto the heartland. The pro-American policy statements re iillegals do not change what is already so–including this reality of illegals being quickly flown away from the borders into the heartland.
Which is why I don’t have the stomach to even attempt to comment at the treehouse about these things, and I know even here I look like a cynic. I’m too harsh in saying what I perceive to be so – yes, I know that. But I just do not have the stomach for any pretense. And sometimes I’m just plain wrong, I know, in my perceptions. You all bear with me kindly when I am.
The termites are in the guts of the national building and they will remain there for some time. Termites are the reason for flights like those described in your post, stella. Domestic termites that are still in favor of taking the building down.
In other news, I am deeply involved these days in personal editorial work on MBOB: Vol. II which is my effort to capture and document all of the original documents of both the Torgerson and Larsen families. It’s close to 400 pages in size 10 font at this point and includes the scanning of original land plat documents, original land grants from the 1800s, all of my father’s letters, etc. etc. This is becoming a volcano of material, but I am simply DOING IT because if I don’t, the originals will be in a box somewhere after I’m dead and gone, and will not be available in any understandable form. It will have many photos in it. One of my current dilemmas is how to get my father’s farm records included, which are hand written in 18 X 20 folios provided by the State of Montana beginning in about 1920 after the income tax was instituted. Eric has photographic capacity that may make it possible to photograph those pages with detail that is still readable at 8 X 10. We’ll see. One of the things we need to discuss.
Eric is coming down on Monday to enter into his glad role of collaborator. He has a gift for design and making-it-happen that is going to be so helpful, including original art work that I have. We are NOT going to turn this over to anybody. I can’t afford to to do that and don’t want to any way. If we totally do it ourselves (Eric’s willing to pay for must-do-procedures) then we do not have to deal with the horrible copyright restrictionss that public publishers have to deal with (*Example below), which prevented me from using art work that was GIVEN to me the first time around. We will never sell it for a profit. The actual cost of producing it, 4-5 copies at a time, will just be sold for actual cost, and I don’t even know how much of that we will do. One thing at a time.
Anyway, I’m up to my ears in that.
*EXAMPLE of copyright restrictions: When MBOB, VOL. I was published, I was almost prevented from using the thumbnail print of my parents’ wedding picture on the back cover. Why? Because, the publisher said that, technically, the photographer who took the photo may still claim ownership of the related copyright!!!!! They were married in 1926! I actually did a dignified (I hope) splodey-head event for their benefit and said, ‘YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING”….those of you have the book see that I won that conversation. SMH. Anyway. Not going to deal with that again. But I AM going to produce something that can be reproduced…….

Do you have a scanner? Perhaps that is the way you can get your dad’s records into an electronic form. There are different kinds – bed scanners and hand-held ones. Genealogists are always talking about this stuff over at Facebook. They have a group called Technology for Genealogy (and others, I’m sure):

My scanner is the one attached to my printer – which doesn’t take a large enough bite. Maybe the hand-held version would do it. I’ll check out the link you mention – thanks, Stella!

I believe there are hand-held scanners that are equipped with software that allows you to “stitch together” images to make one compete image.

My smartphone has a pdf scanner app that takes a pic a wee bit dif than reg camera. It somehow alligns doc and then easy edit crop/ further straightening and saves to pictures or as pdf. We use is alot for docs.

“Our house was broken into yesterday while I was at the hospital with Jake and Susan was at work.
Fortunately, the alarm told me and St. Louis Co police apprehended a man with his 10 year old daughter ransacking our house.
The bad news is, my neighbors took a vote and decided the girl was innocent and only there because her dad brought her. Now, I have to give her a room, feed her and pay for her to go to school. Worse yet, since she would be abandoned if her dad goes to jail, he’s been found innocent and I have to let him stay with the girl and feed him too.
If you think this sounds unfair, then you understand DACA.”

Minnesota woman strikes St. Kate’s

A “Minnesota woman” went on an arson rampage at St. Kate’s this past Wednesday. Truza Jamal Hassan — a 19-year-old former student — set eight fires in seven building across the campus. All but one of the fires were set in trash cans inside bathrooms.
Hassan kindly explained that she did so in retaliation for American military intervention in Iraq and Afghanistan, according to the criminal complaint failed in Ramsey County District Court. Her religious inspiration isn’t expressly stated, but she appeared in court yesterday wearing garb including a black face covering that exposed only her eyes and what appeared to be a large white sheet draped over her head. I think she was shooting to make a bold fashion statement with a makeshift niqab.

Hassan is a hard, hard case. She set one fire at St. Mary Hall, the school’s largest dorm. It houses first-year students (welcome to St. Kate’s!) and the Early Childhood Center, a day care facility. Hassan appears to have included St. Mary Hall on her rampage because of the day care facility. Thirty-three children and eight adults were at a day care in the building at the time, along with 10 to 15 students who were also evacuated.
Hassan did a lot of talking that will prove helpful to the prosecution of the case against her. She explained to police that “she wanted the school to burn to the ground and that her intent was to hurt people.” She said similar attacks happened on “Muslim land” and no one cared if Muslims were hurt. Hassan also told police that she had written a letter to her roommates containing “radical ideas about supporting Muslims and bringing back the caliphate.” And just to be clear, she also told authorities, “You guys are lucky that I don’t know how to build a bomb because I would have done that.” Good to know.

Where else do we put them while they wait for their day in court, which they will never show up for? I am sure they are calling themselves UACs, Unaccompanied children, but remember what we know about them… most are gangbangers who love to play with machetes and mutilate people. Here is Catholic Charities consolidated financial report for 2015-16. It is just one of multiple agencies that, through the State Department, get millions and millions of dollars to ‘settle’ illegals. I’m not picking specifically on Catholic Charities, but am truly disgusted that like other ‘charities’ in the same category, they receive federal money to make sure that illegals have medicaid and all the trimmings.

If you really want to give yourself that ‘splodey head feeling, go to the FOIA vault (https://foia.state.gov/search/search.aspx) and type in Affiliate Monitoring Report or the name of your least favorite resettlement agency. (There are more than you might imagine – like International Rescue Committee, Inc) These are what look like required reports to make sure all is well and good with the illegal settlers.

He’s the CEO of an enterprise that’s huge, unwieldy and has large parts unloyal to him. The only way he can drain the Federal civil service swamp is to have Congress change the civil service laws.
I said early on that any blow he delivers from the throne will get attenuated and absorbed by a huge, almost untouchable and professionally bureaucrat bureaucracy. They survive by knowing how to use the system against the system, I watched it for some 40 years. You also have a load of Obamanauts he filled the system with who are as implanted deep and wide – why do you think he made the unprecedented move of staying in DC, buying a house within minutes of the Capital zone? While Trump’s busy with the endless guerrilla attacks from the press, Leftist groups and Congressional traitors Obama’s little metastatic munchkins inside of the system continue to do his bidding.
