I know it is Christmas weekend, but please take a moment to be aware of what is going on with Joy Villa. I have noticed Tweets that she is a plant and a Scientologist. I haven’t had time, energy or inclination to investigate.
Then I saw this article this morning.

Then I remembered that President Trump is looking into revoking Scientology’s tax exempt church status (which it never should have been awarded). I think Villa’s intention was to set up President Trump but the opportunity never presented itself. Scientology is all about the money President Trump is a threat to them.
Ivanka really is a weak link. Trump needs to give her some job outside of D.C. and the spotlight, but even then it will be hard to get her to check her facts, and think before talking. My hubby was just telling me some incorrect comments she was making about the tax plan (sigh).
BTW – about college degrees of rich people’s children – I monitored the final exams a few times at a well known college whose name and reputation you would recognize. (One of the seven sisters colleges – what a real eye opener that was!). There was a VERY NICE young lady having a separate final exam I monitored. She was “special needs” meaning she had a learning disability, which she did appear to have. She went over the time limit, and I went in to tell her that her time was up. I found her boyfriend in the room with her going over her exam paper. She was sincerely distraught at not being able to do the test, and I felt bad for her, but that really is not allowed, and I politely told them that. I then called the office, and they said they did not care, it did not matter, her wealthy father was giving the college a generous donation. He was buying her a degree! “Buying her a degree!” Those were the colleges admins exact words! So don’t think just because a rich person has a college degree, that they are necessarily intelligent.
I am NOT in ANY WAY saying Ivanka is “special needs” as this nice young lady was, but Ivanka seems to be “off” somehow. Perhaps being the favorite child of a billionaire, she has been able to talk without checking her facts, and thinking first, but this is not the society columns of NYC. This is the worlds most powerful arena, and she does not seem to realize the gravity of where she is. (I still am aghast at the one shoulder, bright pink dress she wore to Pres Trump’s first speech before congress. It was completely inappropriate. It belonged at a nightclub!) It appears she and her husband are liberals, and I wonder if someone on the opposing side of her father is playing the part of her friend/confidant, and giving her subtle, but bad advice to reflect poorly on her father. I realize she is her father’s favorite, but the survival of this country is more important than appeasing a favorite child.
I think she’s well intentioned, but very much in over her head. I believe completely that parents are buying their children’s education. That’s much of the problem with the elite… they actually aren’t very intelligent.
I find this hard to believe. I know nothing of this November party in D.C., but I live in the same very small town as C.L. Gossip travels fast here, and neither myself, my husband or friends have heard anything like this about him. He has a nice, quiet family here. New Hampshire is also a very small, rabidly political state, and nothing like this has come up about C.L. before, which you would have thought would have come up considering his closeness to Trump during the campaign. Remember that “news” reporter that accused him of grabbing her was proved to be a total fraud.
The progs/NWO globalists are desperate to destroy anyone associated with Trump, and are grasping at anything as they go down. This is a diversion from the further investigations and reports coming to light about Obama, Hillary etc. They need to distract from their own horrid/illegal actions. They are trying to pull another “accuse = guilty” on C.L. thereby implicating Trump by association. This does not work anymore, especially on someone like C.L.
By the way to clarify: #1. I do NOT know C.L. personally. I am talking about his reputation in a very small town and state. #2. If he did have a bad reputation I would NOT be defending him just for political reasons, because lies only cause more problems in the end. #3. I am sick of the “accuse= guilty” dirty tactics of the left. Not only does it hurt good people wrongly accused, it makes it harder for those who actually have been truly sexually harassed.

Former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon and President Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski have received requests to testify before the House Intelligence Committee regarding the Russia probe early next year, according to Bloomberg News. The request to appear before the panel is reportedly for early January. The panel did not issue subpoenas. The letters were reportedly sent earlier this week.
My guess is that her original target was Trump but he was unavailable. He is probably very careful not to be put into a situation where accusations can be made.
Corey seems very solid to me, I think this is a smear job, I trust no one involved in Scientology.

Wanted to echo what some of you have said the past few days. It is a treat to come here to this Place every morning, and to check in throughout the day and see what you all are up to.
The beauty, wit, wisdom, nourishment, inspiration, provoking, banter, warmth, experiences, prayers and all of the other interesting tidbits gathered here and there, and then eagerly brought and offered. The ups, the downs, triumphs and tragedies.
Don’t know any of you personally, but personally I enjoy all of you. It is a pleasure to glean bits and pieces of your lives as you share, trying to put together in my mind the who, what and where’s of y’all. And I look forward to the newness of each day. The “news” that you deliver, which truly is what will matters most in the end.
It is quite the collection, north and south, east and west. Women, men. Probably the biggest connection we share is age. (No children, but thinking Wooly may be the youngest, and would NEVER venture into guessing the most seasoned.) And a love of country, family, tradition, etc. Some wiser than others, some more caring, and others more thoughtful.
But all of you who bring their own distinct gifts that make up the whole, a beautiful patchwork quilt that is ever expanding, and like a mothers heart, always able to take in more. I know that you all have a place in mine.

So the mad dash has begun in earnest but I wanted to take a moment to thank Stella for hosting a warm, welcoming, informative and beautiful web site. It’s unusual to feel such camaraderie and such a connection to so many people, and it is a testament to each and every one of you that this site exists the way it does.

Her mother’s family had their dinner tonight, and since her maternal grandfather built the doll house for her they surprised her with it tonight so that he could get to see her reaction. According to her mother, it was epic, she loved it!

Oowee, y’all, we had biscuits and gravy, grits, eggs, and venison tenderloin. Wow, it was the best breakfast ever, leftover tenderloin and biscuits for tomorrow so I don’t have to cook breakfast then, and a few biscuits to throw in with the cornbread for dressing.
Hard to get going now, my stomach is making me sleepy.

Morning Stella, and all of you wonderful people,
Stunning beautiful lighthouse pic, I do love me some blue.
Wanted to echo what some of you have said the past few days. It is a treat to come here to this Place every morning, and to check in throughout the day and see what you all are up to.
The beauty, wit, wisdom, nourishment, inspiration, provoking, banter, warmth, experiences, prayers and all of the other interesting tidbits gathered here and there, and then eagerly brought and offered. The ups, the downs, triumphs and tragedies.
Don’t know any of you personally, but personally I enjoy all of you. It is a pleasure to glean bits and pieces of your lives as you share, trying to put together in my mind the who, what and where’s of y’all. And I look forward to the newness of each day. The “news” that you deliver, which truly is what will matters most in the end.
It is quite the collection, north and south, east and west. Women, men. Probably the biggest connection we share is age. (No children, but thinking Wooly may be the youngest, and would NEVER venture into guessing the most seasoned.) And a love of country, family, tradition, etc. Some wiser than others, some more caring, and others more thoughtful.
But all of you who bring their own distinct gifts that make up the whole, a beautiful patchwork quilt that is ever expanding, and like a mothers heart, always able to take in more. I know that you all have a place in mine.
Bit sentimental today. And although CTH born and bred in this wonderful world of internet info, this is the refuge from the Refuge. Thank you!

Slowly put toe back in to test, and viola! Seem to be in a good place and sound enough to be a help rather than a hinder.

Her mother’s family had their dinner tonight, and since her maternal grandfather built the doll house for her they surprised her with it tonight so that he could get to see her reaction. According to her mother, it was epic, she loved it!
