        LOL! I wouldn’t even attempt to trim my boy’s claws. He engages in a fight to the death if I even try to pick him up. On the other hand, my female Tortie was de-clawed by her previous owner and she loves to be cuddled…BUT she’s a BIG cat and it’s like picking up a one year old kid.

          Even though ours are very ‘friendly’ there are certain things I wouldn’t try with them unless we were both heavily medicated.

      Our Lacey fell in love with her kitty-condo when she was a tiny kitten. A little catnip, and me scratching it with my own nails gave her the right idea in no time. She still loves it years later, and it shows! I’ve had to repair it twice.

      My cousin in Birmingham emailed me that they received 5″ of snow yesterday. That’s yuuuge for them. That would be respectable here.

        Ours is still melting off of our well-insulated roof and the car still has an ice-coated windshield though the snow coat done slid offen its engine hood.
        Your cousin’s just up 59 from us and Hsattiesburg north got a solid hit.

        Weather Channel’s telling us that due to global warming the temps in the Gulf and southern Atlantic are warmer than normal causing more evaporation that was carried onland, sucked up by Hysterical … errr … Historical Winter Storm Benji and deposited as record snows. Also, six of the worst recorded snowstorms in the NE have occurred post-2000. SEE YOU SHOULDA VOTED FOR HILLARY!!!!! WE’RE ALL DOOMED, DOOMED THEY SAY!!!!!!!!

    Snow’s melted off of the tile on the patio table, B&W inside/outside cat made a beeline for it this AM to reclaim his realm from the snow. Presently has butt firmly and majestically planted on a cold but snow free tile and has the cat ‘master of all I survey’ look on his face.
