This cat is an Oriental Shorthair named Corey. He was adopted a year ago from the Monmouth County SPCA. He’s almost four years old now. Corey has very soft fur.

longest whiskers I ever saw….look like curb feeler things on a 1953 buick…..
When I was at the vet last week, a man brought in the cutest kitten that he found in a field. It was what I would call a cross between a Siamese and an American shorthair. Perfect but light points and as sweet as can be. Probably a couple of months old.
Spock the Cat?
The inside and one of the inside/outside cats are now a capella informing me it’s wet-food breakfast time…back in a minute.
dogs get Beggin Strips
no one in the know would ever name a cat food product anything related to “beggin”
maybe “Demandin Right Now or I will Tear the Sofa Pillows Off Food”
Ours is more like: “We’ll send the fat guy in to endlessly crawl/sit all over you until you get up!”

My 7 pound dog does her morning stretches on my face, if that doesn’t do the trick the 21 pounder starts poking me and moaning until I get the picture.
We and the two Golden Girl dogs snore in while the two younger terriorists start bouncing off the walls and chewing on things. I made the mistake – once – of splitting the little bit of leftover cat food in the can between the dogs as a breakfast tapas. Now EVERYONE has a stake in getting me vertical.
Happy Caturday, everyone….!!!!
Funky cold rain again today. Gonna be one of those days.

Without an attribution on the poster this may be a knockoff copy of Jules Cheret’s famous French advertising color poster done in 1895…
Here’s another French lithographic advertising poster for Dubonnet by Cheret who is considered the father of the art poster…
For information on this era of art posters (which were both large for outdoor kiosks, and small for shop windows) see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Les_Ma%C3%AEtres_de_l%27Affiche
This poster by Cheret rendered in 1892 is in my art collection…
