    mine is the only flag flying out front of my house in a neighborhood of high middle class folks….but no flag, no heart…..difficult to not be angry…..our folks FORGET so much….

      I have a happier report: when I’m headed out to the highway to go to stores, I drive for a little under a mile within the neighborhood of our 55+ housing village of about 1200 homes. I just got back from a run to the store – and in that less than a mile, I counted 36 flags!

      Yay! I always (on any regular day) can count at least 12-14, but the group has outdone themselves today – and that was just on one “route” –

      Happy dance.

    As I recall…it sucked. We did not know. Why they did that? LBJ the A Hole of the last Century. Limited warfare is not the answer. I really hated the ‘Win the Hearts and Minds’ Scheme. I was for NUKE EM”.
