Halloween better get here soon….I have already eaten about one half of the chocolate goodie handouts, especially the Good Ones…..the twizzlers are going to be the big deal for the spookie kiddies if this keeps up.
    I am not ashamed…..

I met someone who goes to the last day of church or big rummage sales when you can fill a bag for a small amount of money. She and her husband buy all the children books and pass them out along with candy for Halloween. I thought that was a really neat idea.

our “trick or treaters” are brought into the neighborhood from distant apartments…and do not speak any English….books…no….they want free candy….including the uncostumed teenagers….we just turn off the outside lights when we see this crowd take over from the regular neighborhood kids…..sours the event.

One would think that DC would be scary and spooky (can we still use that word?) enough without added special effects. Beltway scares the hell outta me 365.
