        If you’re outside the PDT zone, it’s “afternoon, sand” Otherwise we’ve got an hour to go. It’s deciding when to start raining here.

        Got the trash taken out, mail picked up, a slow walk around the apartment complex in…and now to the computer and dealing with my President Trump-hating relative.

        Got an email from her saying the world hates him and he’s a lying billionaire, and asked just why it was I thought he was competent since he’s going to kill us all with his belligerent attitudes toward the Norks and Iran. She requested some back-up for my opinion.

        OKAY!!! Early this morning I sent her the speech on Iran, the Values Voter Summit speech, the one he gave in Poland (along with Melania who my niece thinks is passive, beaten-down and unhappy!!), and a couple of opinion vids from American voters (one being from Scott Adams). Today, I’ll get together some good articles.

        Please pray that she will watch and read everything. Then it’s up to her to either believe what she sees or continues to think President Trump is a phony, a hater, a ruiner of nations.

        If anyone has good suggestions for recent articles, please let me know. It’s tiring going through the dozens I’ve bookmarked.

            Ha! A friend of mine said she would listen to one video I sent her, (she thinks I am delusional about President Trump) so I sent her a Scott Adams video about people watching different movies and that logically the people most in touch with reality were the people who were predicting that Trump would win the presidency. The delusional people were the people who were shocked that he won and Hillary lost.

            She never commented on the video 🙂 .

          I’m sorry about your relative. I wonder if she would read any of the articles Sundance has posted next door. The mainstream media hates Trump and if that’s all she reads and watches, she’s been brainwashed. If I come across anything helpful, I’ll try to send it your way. I’m on Twitter at sandandsea2017.           Yeah, I’d suggest we’re headed more towards the sandstone range of relative hardness than granite, geological time not being applicable to people, but yeah the memories are still there. I can remember going out with a light ruck and running in formation with boots. Later on when I’d gravitated to a more chairborne job the Army goes to designer gym clothes and running shoes. Where were they when we really needed them?

    We’ve been having on and off issues with electric, phone and internet. Substations have been going down causing power loss to homes and towers. Not really a big deal for me, just more of a nuisance as the electric hasn’t went out at my house for more than a few hours at a time so no worries about freezers and honestly people can live without cell phones and internet and electric, but others have been thinking it’s the end of the world. When stuff like this happens though and I witness the panic folks have I can see why they say if our electrical grid gets attacked 90% of people will die.

    I do have even better news our racing friend is now in rehab and well on his way to recovery. He still has some kidney problems and burns that haven’t healed and few more surgeries for them, but doctors think as well as he’s doing now he’ll be able to go home within 6 to 8 weeks. He’s still in really good spirits, sending texts and making phone calls and enjoying visits. Doctors say he’s a miracle. I say God works miracles.

    Ask questions of those people caring for you. If you’re satisfied with the care you are receiving, do everything they tell you to do! And collect every hug that comes your way…..

    Strangest thing I’ve seen in a while: a golf cart, blaring Public Enemy from a nice little sound system, rolls into the parking lot and parks, below my smoking perch. It’s a white couple with a little white kid in the front passenger seat, going to get some food. As they dismount, I yell down, “Public Enemy? Really?! Chuck D… yeah!!!”

    Who rolls around with a little kid playing Public Enemy songs at high volume?

    I think the song was 911’s a Joke, but I can’t be sure, because every PE song sounds the same to me.

      Central Nebraska white, in a golf cart. That’s like Salvador Dali stuff. This was minutes ago. I’m still in shock. They’re probably still in the eatery. Tempted to go outside with my speaker and blast some Eazy-E.

    I went to another movie today, The Stray, about a dog that just appears and affects the family’s life in a positive way. It isn’t the slickest made movie in the Hollywood way. Nothing gets blown up, people don’t get into wars, no karate kicks, or killing. It is a little slow, however there is a big payoff at the very end of the credits, so I recommend sticking with it all through the credits to the very end. The credit list is the shortest I have ever seen.

    Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.
