Outside cat and inside/outside cat are outside but are sticking very close to the garage door, mostly lounging on the concrete or on top of the truck. Despite the calmish (winds up to about a steady 10 mph) conditions they know something creepy’s afoot.

One of the local news commentators, just about an hour ago, reporting from a ‘water over the road’ story just outside of tne city. When the feed came back to him he had a very small grey and black striped kitten nestled on his arm. Seems as he was looking for a spot to broadcast from they heard this sopping wet kitten mewing from the side of the road. Within a few minutes of his briadcasting it a couple rode up to where he was and took the kitten home and, he said, people continued to drive up and ask for it until he got back on the air and told everyone it was already spoken for.
One of the few hurricane-related stories today that didn’t maje uour skin crawl.

    • I’m normally not on board with PETA, with any of their usual B.S., but dang.

Not a fan of Circuses or zoos.

These are cats. They don’t belong in a cage, or on stage at a Sigfried and Roy spectacle. They don’t belong in the suburbs and on highways, either. They belong where they’re from. Siberia, in this case. In the woods and steppes. Our society has not gotten beyond Spectacle shows from the 1800s? Now the rest of the cats are being “shipped” to Germany, to entertain crowds.

Not a fan of this. Or South Chicago, either. Same argument, really. Some beings just don’t belong where they’re put, by people who want to make bank by doing so.
