The Baton Story

Do you have a good sense of humor? Sometimes, I don’t. Sometimes, I take things too seriously (have you noticed?)

Jeanne Robertson is known to most of you, I think. I listened to this story earlier today and thought – this deserves to be shared with everybody at Stella’s Place. I need to remember this story for those occasions when it is hard for me to find the humor.

One word. Write it down. BATON!

  4. Jeanne is a comedy genius. Yes, I’m familiar with her, like she’s family.

I know I’m going to be laughing down crying when I watch it, though I haven’t yet, just from seeing her face in the still shot.

    Thanks for this!

Her running, rolling punchlines, referring to earlier parts of her stories, reminds me of Richard Pryor and Bill Cosby. Such a great storyteller! Mark Twain would agree.
