Vice President Pence Speaks about Tax Reform During Michigan Visit

Scheduled for 12:10 pm. I believe this is audio only.

Vice President Pence is visiting the Detroit area. Last night he attended a GOP fund raiser in Bloomfield Hills, MI.

The vice president is meeting with Gov. Rick Snyder, business leaders and Michigan families Thursday morning to discuss tax reform before heading over to American Axle and Manufacturing in Auburn Hills to speak about the GOP’s Tax Reform Plan.

Gov. Snyder and Lt. Gov. Brian Calley will join Vice President Pence in Auburn Hills. None of today’s events are open to the general public.

On a personal note, Auburn Hills, MI is the city I worked in for 25 years. I’m glad I am not there to experience the road closures and traffic snarls that will be a result of the VP’s visit, although I am happy he is in Michigan!

I am taking this opportunity to point out/remind readers what a beautiful state Michigan is. Thank you for watching.

Wow. I am impressed with Milo.
“Longtime Geller Report (nee Atlas Shrugs) readers know I have spoken little of the impact this fight has had on my life and the personal toll exacted by these devout savages.

I thought it was time to tell my story. This is the story of how a NYC newspaper executive went from an apolitical career girl to one of the most notorious anti-jihadists in the world.

And so I have. And Milo was brave enough to publish it.”

Really good speech! Two things made me smile. The first was a joke:

The tax code is ten times as long as the Bible, but without any good news.

The second was a verse from that Bible. Some good news!

2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Version (KJV)

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Also happy that VP Pence made a point of itemizing all of the aid that the government agencies and military branches are providing to Puerto Rico.
