An Ace thread, when read in full, is like this place, because they all know each other, but it’s far more crude and geared toward comedy and puns and laughter. An amazing place, for such a long time. I don’t post there — not often — but I read the threads, for many years now. It’s, for readers, the best comedy on the internet.

Thanks for the kitty rescue picture Stella. I wonder if they fight about being rescued by a stranger a bit, or are so happy to go. Dogs tend to go to humans quicker than cats.

From our experience, not much. Thry’re scared to death and you fenerally have to pry them of of their perches if it’s a water rescue but they’ll usually cling to you like Velcro. Even the feral ones respond if you have a comfortable spot where you can leave food for a few days, they instinctively know that if they don’t eat for three days or so they’re looking at a life-threatening cobdition. Coming out of a fight-for-life situation changes cattitudes.
