More great imagery from GOES-16. We can see all 3 hurricanes being tracked, and even the Amazon river in Brazil. pic.twitter.com/fuvNtZ6Qrq

Still preparing. But, this waiting is hard. I picked up a carrier yesterday at Goodwill in case we have to evacuate to a shelter. They said we could bring pets but they have to be in a carrier. Boy, is she gonna hate it. 😯

Also, try to remember to charge your phone, frequently, until you leave.
Pack dog supplies and meds for shelter and plan for at least a week. If any items in a can, remember to bring a can opener. You’d be surprised how many will forget.
Put non-perishable food and water bottles in a tote bag with a zipper closure. Put clothing items on top of them to hide from view. Put a flashlight and spare batteries on top of the clothes. Think of it as going camping for a week – a vacation. 😉
Hard boil some eggs. They keep for a while; just store in fridge until you head for the shelter.
Freeze a few bottles of water and place in zip-lock freezer style bag with eggs in their own bag.
Peanut butter will keep, as well. Crackers will last, also. Pack some chew treats for your dog.

Stay safe. You’re braver than me, my rear would have been out of there days ago.

I’m not looking forward to it. 😦

Praying for you Aus. I hope God’s angels blow it back out to sea.

They are showing it dropping to a cat 2 by the time it gets here. I think I will be fine if that happens.

I hope it continues to drop and gets out of there quickly.

I’d be in panic mode.

No. I decided to get that out of the way early and panicked on Monday, I think it was.

with an onshore breeze and
very, very, very few people. 😉
