Hey, there’s big money in lemonade. My five year old granddaughter made 51 bucks in a few hours over two weekends selling our home made lemonade at fifty cents a pop. Personally, I’d have charged a buck. She gave them the big solo cup and a huge smile. Donating all her profits to a charitable cause.
I’m thinking of taking over her stand for purely capitalistic purposes.

I saw the photo in the Featured Image above (without the caption). I’m not sure where, guessing Twitter.
When I saw it, my thought was something along the lines of “that’s not a good look for Trump, feeds the anti-Trump narrative about Russia.” I didn’t pay it a lot of attention, but I distinctly remember it and my reaction.
It turns out it’s a fake.

Seen on Facebook. The person who posted it is a small-business owner in Atlanta:
“Truly one of the silliest memes the left is trotting out is the idea that Trump doesn’t care about the country or is a traitor to Russia.
Those of you repeating this have zero idea how crazy you sound to middle America. Look at it from their point of view.
“What America are you even talking about? Let’s say I’m a middle class worker in Ohio. For the last 20 years, and certainly the last 8, all I’ve heard from the left is that I’m a white bigot.
“Even as my local economy has flailed, I’m told that I’m the benefit of privilege and have to be brought down to size. I’m told that I have to step aside and make room for illegal invaders.
That I can’t even call them that or I’m a bigot. The left hates my religion but thinks I’m a bigot for not wanting Islamists in the country.
“So let me get this straight: Trump is not for me and my America? But you leftist are? Because Trump supposedly likes Putin?
“What does that have to do with me? I want to know who likes ME? You leftists hate me. You make that clear each and every day.
“I have to watch everything I say or you call me names and potentially damage my job.
“You write article after article basically saying you are waiting until I’m dead or diluted out. You value plants and turtles above me. YOU make that clear to me each and every day.
“Why do I care if Trump likes Putin. I’m not even saying he does. I’m just wondering why I would care???
“Putin is not building a mega mosque in my town. Putin is not censoring my facebook posts.
“Putin is not saying he’s going to shut down the coal mine in my town.
“Putin is not charging my son with sexual harassment at college. You leftists are not for me and my America.
“You want me to die out and make room for YOUR ‘new’ America. Because the ‘old’ America, aka me, sucks.
“You are more loyal to Syrians and Mexicans and European globalists, than to me.
“You not only hate me, you mock the very idea of me liking myself.
“Make America Great Again – you hate and mock the slogan.
“Me liking me makes me a ‘Nationalist’, a ‘supremacist’ or whatever word you come up with. You sure love to come up with words to bully me.
“Trump says he likes me. You say that’s a con? What are you even talking about? You hate me. You hate the country.
“I’ll take my chances with Trump.”

I note that none of the kids featured in the Melania Visits France thread are French kids.
The kids in that thread’s pics will never be French people. Neither will their kids.
If I move to Japan, and have kids, and my kids have kids, none of them will ever be Japanese people, either. Not even with reconstructive facial surgery.
Our side uses props for photos, too. In the case of that thread, France’s Vibrant invading replacement population. She couldn’t find any sick French kids for photo ops?

I don’t imagine she got to pick. How do you know none of those kids aren’t French? I disagree that because someone has a different ethnic origin means they can’t be French, or American, or Japanese, particularly if they were born in the country.
TwoOne of my great-grandfathers was born in Germany. Does the fact that my ancestry is German mean that I’m not a real American?LikeLiked by 1 person
On paper, you are. Those who wrote the preamble to our Constitution, specifically the words, “OUR POSTERITY”, were referring to themselves and their future generations. Hence the word OUR. How many Germans are signers?
America is the only country that is supposed to negate and subsume it’s own culture and belongs to the entire world. Meanwhile, any Europeans in Africa are considered Colonialists and evil, and have largely been kicked out. Good for them.
Are MS-13 members Americans? Are Jamaat-ul-Fuqra Americans?
Western European immigrants assimilated, and decided to be not Germans, not Italians, not Dutch, but to be Americans.
Clock-boy Junior with the legos and the future clitoridectomy recipient in the Melania thread are not, nor will they ever be, French.

I have to go to work now, so that millions of people who aren’t Americans can receive the largesse of our posterity, free.

It look like the two featured children are likely Middle Eastern but the gaggle of children at the hospital look as Stella said like plain French children.
Interesting that two pictures of Melania in France feature her with very ME looking children. I don’t think the MSM would willingly do that as it doesn’t show Melania running in fear from a Musli child which is the optic that the MSM would like to be believed.
I do agree that the refugees are not there to assimilate but to take over.
Curious.

How many Germans are signers?
I’m sorry, but that’s ridiculous. So, only people with the same ethnic background as the signers are real Americans? The “our” refers to all Americans, not just the ones who signed.
By the way, your original comment belongs on the other thread, rather than under the comment I made that has nothing to do with this.
LikeLiked by 1 person
I’m sorry if I sound mean, but what Wooly said is silly. There were 39 people who signed off on the new Constitution in 1789, as representatives of the people of their state(s). Most of them were born in British colonies in the USA, although several were born in Ireland, one in England, one in Scotland, and one in the British West Indies (Alexander Hamilton). So you can only be a ‘real’ American if your ancestors were from England, Ireland, or Scotland?
One of my German ancestors came to what is now the United States in 1752, settling in Philadelphia, more than 30 years before the Constitution was signed. Are you saying that I’m not a ‘real’ American because some of my ancestors are German?
Many of my British ancestors were here in what would become the United States long before it existed, in one case in the 1630’s.
The latest of my ancestors (German) arrived in Ohio before the Civil War.
Which part of me is a ‘real’ American?

For example….
With this little fun, genealogical gem, I recently found out that my kids are related to:
Declaration Signers 23-my side/ 13-my husband’s side
Constitution Signers 12-my side/ 11-my husband’s side
Being American is as much in the heart & spirit as it is in the blood &/or longevity of ancestral ties to this land. No matter how many “American” generations you might go back on BHO’s ancestry, that individual didn’t appear to have an American bone in his body (no twisted pun meant here–yikes!)…

The Lion of Mosul: Courage of young soldier going undercover as ISIS fanatic to shoot dead six fighters behind enemy lines
A soldier on a perilous mission to gather crucial intelligence deep behind Islamic State lines during the ferocious battle of Mosul shot dead six enemy fighters.
The fearless special forces hero Mohammed Qasim, dubbed the Lion of Mosul, disguised himself as one of the fanatics and conned them into believing he was one of them.
The Iraqi discovered the location of ISIS positions and key sniper and machine gun teams.
Last night senior Iraqi officers applauded the 25-year-old’s actions.
General Abdul Wahab al-Saadi said: “We are all very proud of what this soldier did. He is a very brave man. He makes us all hold our heads up high.”

I’m not complaining about the behavior of the Iraqi soldiers I am simply stating that Muslims are Muslims and if there is anyone who thinks a new batch of Muslims who were raised in the savagery of Islam are going to become pro-civilized behavior they are not paying attention to history.
I am well aware of the atrocities committed by ISIS I am also well aware that for centuries before a segment of the savages attached the moniker of ISIS, ISIL, Daesh, Hezbollah, Taliban, The Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR, Qaeda, Boko Haram, Jihadis and this that or any other name to themselves that they were committing the same atrocities and simply identified as Muslim.
They hate us. Once their country is free of this or that labeled group they will turn their savagery more fully upon us infidels.
I don’t really think we are disagreeing Czar. Maybe I am missing something?

Off to do battle with the VA this afternoon, I’m going to a small outpatient clinic that services our rural area for a referral to a hearing aid clinic. Fourty years of military gun damage, wife nagging damage is non-compensable (I’ll hear about that one, yet more impact damage).
Found a very helpful woman at the big VA center who’ll help me get a more local referral than the 90 miles I’d have to drive (one way) to the VA hospital. Gotta make sure the local office understands I am NOT there to transfer my primary care from a competent system of for-profit and suable trained physicians to a system that is complicit in the deaths of over 300,000 vets awaiting treatment. Senator’s office is set to intervenve were the VA to try and slam me.
Now ain’t it a shame that a vet has to go into defensive battle posture to use a service allegedly built to help him? Multiply that by a million vets and you see the magnitude of the problem.

good luck, czar. My DH, the retired Coast Guard Captain, is just starting to deal with the VA for his health care needs, at age 67. The need for hearing aides is what finally got him into the system. And I gotta say, so far his experience has been great. No runaround, rapid response/follow up of issues and referrals. As a PA, I’m both knowledgeable and critical of health care delivery. Part of my medical training (ok, 25 years ago) was at the Boise VA, where I saw some bad stuff. But (again, SO FAR) the Alaska VA system has been admirable. My fingers are crossed that it stays that way.

Zactly what I am going for. I’m getting a referral to the closest VA center which would be 80 road miles away (VA can’t use air miles any longer) so I should be eligible to use the Choice Program and go to a civilian audiologist.
Boise, eh? City whose toads were laid out by a drunken indian (can we still say that?). My unit HQ was in Boise so we came up there a lot from Ogden, UT. Had another unit in Hayden Lakes…you may get the reference.
I have one civilian doc who’s an ex-Navy doc who served at Walter Reed, another civilian doc who trained with The Godfather of diabetes, and my main med center is the Ochsner Foundation. I am using the VA for a hearing aid, outside of that they can forget my address. Local (NOLA) VA is partnered with the state-owned LSU medical teaching center, a brand new hospital funded by the state that took huge funding hits before it ever opened its doors. I’m sure that when the Joint Commission ever inspects the VA they’re gonna find an excess of unnecessary operations, as they gave st other VA facilities coupled to training hospitals.

One co-worker who’d been there like a decade was an acknowledged schizophrenic & she asked me how to perform the most basic, rudimentary job task that was foundational to our specific work–as in you’d perform it for virtually every “client” & I honestly don’t think she knew or remembered how to do even that task.
I heard someone on talk radio today, perhaps Mark Levin, describing some of the many outrageous, incompetent , and frankly illegal actions by many in government. He said that if any of those things were done by people in the private sector they would be jailed for life–but of course our “overlords” get a complete pass…especially if they have a D behind their name!

I may be misspeaking or you’re not understanding what I’m saying. I am specifically referring to the Muslim refugee influx in France and the two children in the the still photographs with Melanis appear to be of Middle Eastern decent and that indicates to me that they are likely first or second generation immigrants. They may be children whose families have accepted French law over Sharia or they may be children with a long or short French heritage.
If they are Muslim immigrants then the likelihood of them becoming French is nil, if being French means accepting the laws of France. They will, at the threat of death and eternal damnation always be Muslim and they will recognize no law other than Sharia.
My grandparents came over from Lithuania and became American citizens because they made America their new home, the constitution their new law. That is all I and I think Wooly are saying, that Muslim’s will always be Muslims and being Muslim means that you must work for the Islamization of any land that you have touched.

Perhaps people don’t know that at one time there were so many Germans in the colonies and then the U.S. that they considered making the national language German rather than English.
My mother’s ancestry is German, what is commonly called Pennsylvania Dutch to which some take exception, although my maternal grandfather used that term all the time and didn’t have a problem with it. We used to joke around and tell him his surname sounded more Russian than German and he would yelp out, “I’m no Bolshevik!”

Our European ancestors raped, pillaged and propagated across Europe quite freely…who knows what our ancestors were more than a few generations back? Germany wasn’t even a nation state until 1871, it was a glob of fiefdoms for centuries and those ‘states’ every now and then would be absorbed by some other actor.
We had things like the Austrian-Hungarian Empire that absorbed big chunks of Poland and the Ukraine making Poles and Ukranians ‘Austrians’.
We had good oil’ Ghengis Kahn who was do prolific in his travels thru Europe and the Mideast that his genes can be found in some 1 in 200 men…so were some of the Signers Mongols?

“I went straight to choir practice from work, and we just finished.”
“Oh, you are in a choir! How nice!”
“Are you a singer?”
At this she was greatly offended.
“No!”
Then she drew herself up proudly and stated haughtily, “I have a husband.”
That left me perplexed.
