Had a friend seriously injured when her kitten fell in the tub with her. Kitten went insane and scratched and clawed her everywhere. Hospitalized, fought infections for months. She came out of it fine, but there were some days we were not sure.

I had a cat who would jump in the tub voluntarily (or the laundry tub, or the sink). He loved running water. Very strange.

I have a 10 month old kitten that is fascinated with water. Her favorite is watching the toilet flush! One of my previous cats learned how to flush the toilet. I live alone and the little stinker would flush at 2AM! Scared the you know what out of me.

We had one that would get into the shower with me. He’d stay out of the direct spray but would be soggy enough to require toweling. We have two now who will go out into the rain and roll in shallow puddles..I believe the ‘water thing’ is just their revolting when we want them to get wet..

Me, too – a huge male Siamese named Sam. When we travelled on our frequent moves, we’d stop at a drive-in, order him a raw hamburger patty and a cup of water, and let him out of the car on his own to go pee. He.Was.Awesome. (The same one that liked to lurk on top of the cinderblock fence and drop down on top of the German Shepard next door and “ride” him for a bit.)

Siamese are different. I had one for a while, and he loved to ride in the car. He also loved sweets, and would pry apart an Oreo and eat the center.

Ours loved to ride, too! His favorite food was a green olive…..that he got to roll around the house until it had about an inch of filth on it… and then he could properly polish off the kill.
