And what are the specifics of that agenda? The Paris Agreement is a “voluntary” agreement because its architects knew it would never pass the US Senate as a treaty. Why? Because the idea of the agreement is that the US government’s regulatory agencies would impose extreme mandates on its energy sector: how it should work, what kinds of emissions it should produce, the best ways to power our lives (read: not fossil fuels), and hand over to developing world regimes billions and even trillions of dollars in aid, a direct and ongoing forcible transfer of wealth from American taxpayers to regimes all over the world, at the expense of American freedom and prosperity.
And you wonder why many people have doubts about it.

Top global polluters. China is #1 (29% of global pollution), yet had pledged ZERO DOLLARS to the Paris Accord, nor promised any reduction in their carbon output. ADD: Apparently China has promised some reduction (I don’t know how much) by 2030 – 13 years from now.

By the way, the climate zombies will tell you that per capita the United States is way worse than China or India. I have two things to say about that (at least):
1. Do we really want more of our citizens to live like the Chinese or Indians? No electricity, sewage running down the middle of the street, polluted water?
2. The Chinese economy is poised, right now, to surpass that of the United States. Let them pay and clean up their country if that is what is expected of us.

Stella, two positive indicators happened when Trump said “No”. The first one was the reaction from the stock market. Secondly Wilber Ross said; “when people take money out of your pockets, then you tell them to put it back, they don’t like it.”
That all anybody with common sense should need.
