President Trump and VP Pence today at Arlington National Cemetery

A part of being President of the United States is to lead and protect its citizens. After participating in the wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington, President Trump and Vice-President Pence walked to place flowers on the headstone of First Lieutenant Robert Kelly -son of DHS Secretary General John Kelly- who was killed in Afghanistan in 2010.

Along the way they met with some of the families who were there to honor their loved ones who gave their lives for their country.

It amazes me how comfortable he is with everyday people and how genuine he is. He truly loves and respects the military and their families. The haters were out on FB and Twitter today. I started to fight back and then realized, it is like talking to a brick wall. I just wish they could at least give him a chance. Got more than my share of hate too. I will not let it ruin this amazing day listening to my President.
