On Friday, 2/17/17, Tucker Carlson interviewed Ami Horowitz, who directed a film about Sweden and their refugee crisis (watch, below):
In December, 2015, Stella’s Place posted the following:
To set the stage, let’s look at some facts about Sweden:
The area of Sweden is 175,896 sq mi. That is about the size of California and Maryland combined. About 15% of Sweden lies above the Arctic Circle.
The population of Sweden is 9.8 million, about the same as the population of New Jersey. Most of the population live in the southern part of Sweden. 26.8% of the population is now foreign-born or with at least one foreign-born parent, and the national census bureau estimates that some 150,000 immigrants per year will arrive in Sweden. Sweden began actively encouraging immigration in the 1970’s.
A spate of Islamist graffiti in the multiculturalist Swedish city Gothenburg has been compared to the harassment of the Jewish community in Germany in the 1930s, with Christian business owners being told to “convert or die”.
The threats are yet another conflict imported to Europe from the Levant, as the Assyrian Christian Asmar family awoke to find their pizza parlour had been daubed with threats in red paint. Their experience is becoming increasingly common in the city, as legitimate asylum seekers fleeing persecution find it has followed them to Northern Europe, thanks to Sweden’s open door immigration policy. 100percentfedup.com
As well as the vandalism on the Asmar pizzeria, written in Swedish but unusually drawn out in a Gothic script, local Assyrian Christians have found the message “the Caliphate is here” and the Islamic glyph for ‘N’ (ن)written on their walls. In Syria and elsewhere in the Arab world, the ن has come to be a sign of persecution, marking inhabitants out as devotees of Nazareth – Jesus Christ – and thus fair targets for persecution.
Assyrian Christians are not the only Swedes who have experienced crime and violence perpetrated by Muslim immigrants, as crime rates skyrocket. What is worse, the police seem to be unable – or unwilling – to defend Swedish citizens, leaving citizens to defend their homes as best they can by themselves, or by forming vigilante groups.
Many Swedes see the mass immigration as a forced marriage: Sweden is forced to marry a man she did not choose, yet she is expected to love and honor him, even though he beats her and treats her badly. Her parents (the government) tell her to be warm and show solidarity with him.
“Are the State and I now in agreement that our mutual contract is being renegotiated?” — Alexandra von Schwerin, whose farm who was robbed three times. Police refused to help. Gatestone Institute, “Sweden Descends into Anarchy”
Now, this country is a night-watchman state — each man is on his own. When the Minister of Justice, Morgan Johansson, encourages breaking the law, it means opening the gates to anarchy. Mr. and Mrs. Swede have every reason to be worried, with the influx of 190,000 unskilled and unemployed migrants expected this year — equivalent to 2% of Sweden’s current population. The number is as if 6.4 million penniless migrants who did not speak English arrived in U.S. in one year, or 1.3 million in Britain.
Swedes are responding by arming themselves, and installing alarm systems in their homes.
According to police statistics, there are 1,901,325 licensed guns, owned by 567,733 people, in Sweden. Add to this an unknown number of illegal weapons.
The politicians, however, ignore the people’s fear completely. It is never discussed. Instead, the people who express concern about what kind of country Sweden has become are accused of xenophobia and racism. Most likely, that is the reason more and more people are taking matters into their own hands, and protecting themselves and their families to the best of their ability.
Citizens are unprotected, and forming vigilante groups to protect themselves and their properties:
More and more Swedish commentators are now drawing the same conclusion: that Sweden is teetering on the brink of collapse. Editorial columnist Ivar Arpi of the daily Svenska Dagbladet, wrote an astonishing article on October 26, about a woman named Alexandra von Schwerin and her husband. The couple lives on the Skarhults Estate farm in Skåne in southern Sweden; they have been robbed three times. Most recently, they were robbed of a quad bike, a van and a car. When the police arrived, von Schwerin asked them what she should do. The police told her that they could not help her. “All our resources are on loan to the asylum reception center in Trelleborg and Malmö,” they said. “We are overloaded right now. So I suggest you get in touch with the vigilante group in Eslöv.”
Then there is the matter of the rape epidemic. Sweden is now number two on the list of rape countries, surpassed only by Lesotho in Southern Africa. As we have seen in our country, the government and the media shield the identity of the perpetrators:
- Significantly, the report does not touch on the background of the rapists. One should, however, keep in mind that in statistics, second-generation immigrants are counted as Swedes.
- In an astounding number of cases, the Swedish courts have demonstrated sympathy for the rapists, and have acquitted suspects who have claimed that the girl wanted to have sex with six, seven or eight men.
- The internet radio station Granskning Sverige called the mainstream newspapers Aftonbladet and Expressen to ask why they had described the perpetrators as “Swedish men” when they actually were Somalis without Swedish citizenship. They were hugely offended when asked if they felt any responsibility to warn Swedish women to stay away from certain men. One journalist asked why that should be their responsibility. Sweden: Rape Capital of the West
Another euphemism seen in the European press: Middle Eastern immigrant criminals are described as “Asians”.
There is no doubt that the attitude of Muslim men towards non-Muslim women is a primary cause of the increase in rapes in Sweden.
Michael Hess, a local politician from Sweden Democrat Party, encouraged Swedish journalists to get acquainted with Islam’s view of women, in connection with the many rapes that took place in Cairo’s Tahrir Square during the “Arab Spring”. Hess wrote, “When will you journalists realize that it is deeply rooted in Islam’s culture to rape and brutalize women who refuse to comply with Islamic teachings. There is a strong connection between rapes in Sweden and the number of immigrants from MENA-countries [Middle East and North Africa].”
This remark led to Michael Hess being charged with “denigration of ethnic groups” [hets mot folkgrupp], a crime in Sweden. In May last year, he was handed a suspended jail sentence and a fine — the suspension was due to the fact that he had no prior convictions. The verdict has been appealed to a higher court. 100percentfedup.com
I do believe the world got to this point of refugees from Obama and Hillary Clinton and their failed foreign policies
But how the hell did we get to a place where the politicians have gone completely against their people
Thank God for President Trump
I can only hope that each and every country finds their own Donald J Trump

Wow! You must have put an effort into putting all that together. What a shame you couldn’t find anything true. I’m Swedish. I’m used to facts. We don’t have news shows taking sides, so I’m quite shocked actually. And I’m sorry if you’re fed with so much lies.
First, we have many refugees. They are being vetted and we didn’t have any attacks on Swedish soil. Well, we had a failed suicide attack. The true rape statistics are the other way around. I don’t think any country can top south America. Our refugees get to live by Swedish law. Most people that have a problem with refugees are against maybe Islam, middle east I don’t know.
I did find an authentic link from UN (in english) for you to study: http://www.unodc.org/documents/data-and-analysis/statistics/crime/CTS2013_SexualViolence.xls

According to the chart here, in 2010 Sweden had the third highest rate of rape per 100,000 in the world, after South Africa and Botswana. This was also sourced by the UN, and doesn’t require Excel to view it:

As explained in the text it says: “However, widely differing legal systems, offence definitions, terminological variations, recording practices and statistical conventions makes any cross-national comparison on rape statistics difficult.” Meaning, that all sexual offenses reported are counted. Not rapes specifically. 🙂

Your statistics still show Sweden at number one in 2012. I don’t understand why you are arguing with me, since your stats only bolster what I have said.

Also note that the number of rapes in Sweden more than doubled (2.66 times, actually) in a period of seven years, from 2003 to 2010.

By the way, in your spreadsheet, if you sort by column Z, descending (rate per 100,000), Sweden comes in number one in 2012.

I didn’t study this aspect in Sweden, but we have noticed an uptick in certain refugee populations in the United States of drug-resistant tuberculosis. That might be something else to study in your country.

All are tested. There’s been some viruses we’ve extinguished that appeared but they get treatment.

I hope you are correct. Most people here assumed that refugees were tested, but it seems that isn’t always the case with refugees. Yes, they get treatment, but TB treatment is lengthy and difficult, and the infected person must get all of their treatments.

They should all be tested and treated. TBC is easily spread especially if they’ve lived in camps close together.
LikeLike
Yes they should be. Are you sure that they are? I found out (by digging on the CDC website) that temporary workers are not usually tested. These workers serve in our National Parks, hotels during the tourist season etc. Don’t take the word of some government spokesperson announcing that “extreme vetting” is taking place. They might be (probably) lying. Politicians are covering their behinds, not yours.

Yes, every one get tested here. No one want the diseases back. Mot even the politicians. And it’s a part of the vetting. Besides, they’re very keen to get to a swedish doctor.

Since we don’t have TBC in Sweden (only by travelers or immigrants) these numbers should be accurate. And that also shows that they are tested.
LikeLike
It shows the numbers that have been diagnosed, broken down by natives and foreigners. Says nothing about testing of all refugees. It also shows that the rate of TB in your country is more than twice what it is in the USA.
It show clearly that you DO have TB cases among Swedish citizens, not just travelers or immigrants.

Well, somebody didn’t get vaccinated, or it wasn’t effective. Granted, most cases are foreign, but not all of them.

You SHOULD be the bad example! I know you are in denial, but there is plenty of data out there. If I were you, I would be horrified that the rape rate in my country almost tripled in seven years. Our rape rate in the USA isn’t anything to brag about, but it is MUCH lower per capita than in Sweden.

Well, Sweden is all about facts. And the fact is that we do have sexual offenses reported to the UN or anyone. Okay? We have no clean “rape statistics”. It’s not much to deny.

I don’t think it is all rapes. Even the table you provided from the UN, which shows child sexual crimes, shows Sweden’s problem. The rapid increase in rape IS one significant problem that obviously exists in Sweden.
What EXACTLY is not true in the “Fox report”? You keep saying that things aren’t true, and that you are all about facts in Sweden, yet you don’t get specific about it. Just that it is not true or lies or the speaker is a right-wing extremist.

I have certainly seen English-language newspapers in Sweden that have opinions that are different than yours, and that report facts that you deny are true.

I was an English major at university, and spent a lot of time looking into early manuscripts and the copies written by monks in monasteries. What the video says in reference to them is true – it would have been extremely possible that a scribe saw the Islamic glyph and assumed it was *previously* incorrectly written and took it upon himself to have corrected it to the Greek symbol. Such scribe could have propagated that idea among other scribes, or that conclusion could have been reached my many of them, automatically looking/expecting they were translating to be in Greek..
Thanks a LOT for posting this. It certainly makes better – and more frightening – sense than a numerical 666, which has been presumed.
I hope more Treepers watch this, starting at 15:00. It does interlock with the idea of what we see now as the rising of the Islamic Caliphate. Fascinating.
