       Probably as the new Congress was sworn in three days ago and they’ve got to find offices, staff and housing. The Rats sure as hell weren’t gonna show to fet it rubbed in their faces and the certification’s pretty much pro forma anyway.

           Ever watch CSPAN when there’s a vote coming up that isn’t a major MSM televised vote? You could swong a RINO without hitting a RAT. Most of their time is spent in activities other than gocernment, that’s why they hire professional Congressional staffers who seamlessly move between Congresspersons.
           There were times when, on duty in the Beltway area, there wasn’t any drying paint to watch, and a couple of us would go by Congress to watch. Were it not for tourists and the cleaning staff the place would have been empty.

   with Trump officially elected, and all the world issues and US local issues all being worried about…the next door site is getting wild without Trump to push and defend and is consumed with bloviators. I cannot actually follow anything there anymore. thank goodness for this place to make my everyday place….what a loss on the other except for the wisdom and analyses given by SD.

       Mary, keeping one’s sanity is highly overrated, imo. Highly recommend re-establishing one’s identity as the neighborhood crazy lady. Has worked well for me.
