Hi All,
Not sure if you saw the news today, but I was beat up at a Trump rally for holding a sign and falsely accused of having a gun. I am ok and have been released.
I have NO connection with the Clinton campaign apart from me supporting her HOPE over Trump’s HATE. I have canvassed for her for about 3 hours, have contributed to her campaign, and voted for her. Though I do not agree with many of Hillary’s policies, we cannot allow a fascist/dictator to take our beloved freedoms to simply boost his ego and “get back” at anyone who disagrees. Take what happened to me tonight as a classic example of dictator incitement of violence – against your own Republican brother with a stupid sign.
I am a Republican and cannot support Trump and his decisive rhetoric. This election cycle we all know what we need to do.
PLEASE STAND UP WITH ME AND VOTE TO STOP TRUMP!

I’m getting no sleep tonight, but snooping around fb it seems it was a tweet about some hot air balloon contraption he was doing.
I’m back to 2011 on his brother’s fb. They may be registered republicans as they say, but they’re down with hunting, oil, Columbus Day, guns and up with green everything, solar, biodiesel, electric cars, car pooling. Up with non-profits, ice is melting, stopping horrible bear hunting, Indigenous Peoples’ Day, gun control and even nature having human rights.
If it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, in this case it’s a liberal.
What’s hilarious to me is brother is now a cruise ship captain or so he says.

Just went to the brother’s wife page, she loves the boss Michelle Obama, loves Hillary, Oprah, Martha Stewart, Cory Booker and wanted Hillary to pick a female VP so two power b…..es could run the country and make her happy.
I have got to get at least a few hours of sleep, I think I’ve found enough to say without a doubt these are crazed liberals who probably didn’t need paid to act like idiots. They probably think they’re saving the ice and bears. lol

His brother Cary and his wife Jolene Hays still have their FB public. Poor little Ty is the victim who did nothing but hold up a sign and got beat for it. Oh and I’m not providing anything that they don’t choose to make public.

I believe what happened is that Austyn snuck an anti-Trump sign into the rally inside of his jacket and that the sign was folded up. Austyn was dressed differently than the other rally attendees and he was close to the stage so he had been there a long time. He was wearing a shirt, a zipped up sweatshirt and a black vest. He had to be hot.
Austyn must have been nervous. I’m 95% sure that he was sweaty since those rallies are hot and most people were there in short sleeves as opposed to zipped up head to toe.
So Austyn likely looking nervous, sweaty, and dressed like he was out on a cool autumn night started to pull something out of somewhere on his person and move toward the stage. Someone saw Austyn perhaps someone had been keeping their eye on him and yelled “gun” chaos ensued.
People at rallies are generally aware of people who look out of character Austyn looked out of character because of his clothing. One of these days these idiots are going to provoke what they are trying to provoke.
I believe Austyn did exactly what he set out to do. Being tackled and making national news was a bonus.
Personally I once asked a person at one Trump rally if he was there to support Trump or if he was a protester. The person laughed and said “Trump supporter all the way!” .

His fb page was just started a few days ago and then he or his brother deleted his picture and then made it public and started posting until their safe place wasn’t all high fives, couldn’t handle being told he was a POS and deleted the page.
I found a lot of stuff last night that proves the mom, dad, brother, sister-in-law and 90% of their friends are lifelong liberals.
The kind who are out there with their causes, which are many, save the planet, save the animals, save the refugees, save the minorities, save the illegals, save the public schools. Ban the guns, hunting, zoos, circus, gasoline vehicles. Trump supporters are racist.
All your typical moonbat liberal. So of course he did what he did for the attention and to have his inner circle of libtards pat him on the head and tell him what a good job he did.
Like your typical liberal though he never thought about consequences to your actions and looking suspicious and acting suspicious could have gotten you killed. He was darn lucky all he had to find out was a large number of people think you’re an idiot.

This is probably going to sound racist BUT let’s go back to the leftist assassinations of unpopular figures like Malcom X, Meir Kahane and others in crowded settings. First someone starts a small disruption that stops the action monentarily as it draws people’s attention to the fracas. Next someone from a different area produces a handgun and shoots the unpopular political target. It ain’t an unusual tactic, sort of boilerplate.
I ain’t saying this was a possible planned political assassination of an unpopular-to-the-Left figure, far from it, but how close to the nearest public park was it?

Yeah, in any operation, you have two events, the first event is a ruse or tactical demonstration. This is the initial event to draw attention to and always from the main event. Then you have the main event.

Thanks, lovely! He is not well. Now bedridden, on lots of morphine, and even in pain after taken it. We hope he does not linger in pain. Thank you so much for your prayers! On All Saints Day I lit a few candles after Mass — our little church has a monstrance with the Eucharist exposed 24/7 for adoration. Very peaceful to spend time there . . . .

I said a little prayer for your father. I took care of my father after my mother died. He was in hospice for about 6 months. We were lucky that he did not have pain. It is hard not to be sad no matter what happens. You are in my thoughts.

I know where you’re at, it’s not easy thaking morphine and hoping for that peace, went through it with my Dad. Think about the good times past and not the situation now as much as you can, it should help both of you get through this. If there’s anything we can do for you, you know we’ll do it.

Comment in the trash suggested that there was “some kind of mod hysteria epidemic”. Frankly (speaking for myself), the next time I’ll just delete comments completely. Then nobody will know they were there, except for the jerks who posted them, and they can complain all they want in the trash bin.

I finally took the time to look what the errors were and where they were coming from (todays at least).
The video advertisement at the very bottom of each main post just before the comments. It looks like certificates expired for the company that serves up some of the advertisements that they store so the particular advertisements load faster the and newer certificates are not the same type as before. The newer ones require them to be stored somewhere in the chain computers involved in showing you advertising that you ignore, and they aren’t.
If it’s an honest error, it can cause a business to lose customers. It just happens to be the same way bad people can get access to business systems and customer systems.

My particular favs are those who post comments that are in questionable taste, or even outright racist, antisemitic, or obscene. Then they send us emails complaining that their very important thoughts are being moderated, and that they are being persecuted when there are so many others who are much worse. Yup, those are our favorite emails and, as you can imagine, fill us with remorse, guilt, and sorrow, causing us to immediately reinstate the wrongly-persecuted visitor.

I am watching FOX and FRIENDS and Brunell Donald-Kyei was on with Jemu Greene. Jemu is used to talking over her opponent and drowning them out. She is always so smug and condescending and if anybody mentions something she doesn’t like, she talks over them. NOBODY can silence Vernel. I love when she comes on because I know her message will be heard. SHE DID IT. SHE WENT THERE. She mentioned the “FBI crawling all over” Hillary”, the child sex ring, and spirit cooking.

You’ll probably be surprised to know that Michigan is the same. We also don’t have early voting, and we must have a reason to vote absentee unless over the age of 60.

Louisiana has all these rules about voting early but weeks before the election you see news pix of libes of young and healthy voters lined up and voting. Cynical me thinks psrt of that may be because so many employers let you off early to vote on election days, so if you’ve already voted on a weekend…

Why I’m voting for a filthy mouthed man who cheated on his wives and has been married 3 times.
Many seem perplexed that I can support Donald Trump’s candidacy, given my charity work, general goodness and that before this election most people’s perception of me was that I’m not an evil person. I have been called fucking insane, a hypocrite, islam-o-phobic, selfish, a racist, and that I must hate women and gleefully think of ripping families apart, I’ve been told that I’m beyond ignorant and that I get my news from memes or at best tainted right wing news sources.
So many misguided untruths have been thrown at me about Trump and Hillary that it is like catching water from a sieve when I try to respond to the myriad of assertions so I will try to address the top 5 misconceptions and that in and of itself is an undertaking given what has been put forth as fact over fiction.
Myth #1 Hillary is an advocate for women.
1) The truth Hillary is married to a serial sexual predator who a) paid one women $850,000 in a settlement for sexual harassment, b) had a sexual relationship with an intern who was 4 years older than his daughter. The 22 year old intern performed oral sex on Bill Clinton while he had conversations with heads of state on the phone in the Oval Office c) Bill Clinton had a 12 year extra marital affair with Gennifer flowers, lied under oath about it but later admitted to it.
Juanita Broderick has made a credible consistent claim the Bill Clinton raped her. She has made the same claim for 30 years and she told one friend immediately afterward about Bill Clinton attacking her. Team Clinton intimidated her into silence and tried to discredit her with a vicious character assignation.
There are dozens of other women who have come forward to attest to affairs or sexual attacks by Bill Clinton.
Bill Clinton is not running for president but every single one of these women said that Hillary Clinton intimidated and threatened them and Hillary called them trash that no one would believe. Long time Hillary insider David Brock (a) testified that the Clintons wanted all these women destroyed. Dick Morris a long time inside Clinton compatriot said that Hillary and Bill were a team when it came to Bill’s abuse, misuse, sexual misconduct and the subsequent cover up and campaign waged against the women whom Bill abused and took advantage of.
If Monica Lewinsky did not have Bill Clinton’s semen on her dress irrevocable proof of their affair the Clinton’s would still be calling her a liar. Did I mention the Monica was 4 years older than Chelsea when Bill Clinton turned her into a human humidor? As it is Bill Clinton was impeached because of his lies about his affair with Monica Lewinsky and sexual harassment of Paula Jones. (b)
Hillary chose to defend a child rapist, she demeaned and vilified a 12 year old little girl a rape victim, and then Hillary laughed about helping to get Kathy Shelton’s rapist, whom Hillary had no doubt had raped her get a vastly reduced sentence and go free to prowl the streets again.
The argument against Tump is that he is a misogynist who talks like a crude pig and has assaulted women. I agree 100% that Trump talked like a pig and said that his celebrity status allowed him to “grab women by the pussy and kiss them”.
Trump has been a public figure for 40 years, only once in that 40 years has any allegation of misconduct been put forth and that accusation was dismissed for lack of any credible evidence and was considered a shake down.
After the video tape came out with Trump stating crude disgusting things (talk that Trump said was just talk and something he regretted saying, was embarrassed that he said such things but they were actions that he never took) a dozen women came forward to say that Trump assaulted them in just the way he spoke about on the tape.
At least two of those cases have been proven to be false. One women the same day she made the accusations started a sexual aid site the very same day(c). There are credibility issues with all of the stories and contradictory witnesses to some of the stories (d). This is not Bill Cosby where stories have been circulating for years and a predators actions were swept under the rug because of his star status, these are brand new out of thin air allegations.
None of this means I approve of Trump’s degrading talk about women it mean I am far more repulsed by both Bill and Hillary’s actions taken upon and against women than I am by Trumps rudeness and crudeness and infidelities.
Myth #2 Trump hates brown people and said that all Mexicans are killers, rapists and criminals.
Trump’s harshest criticism about our border problem came in his announcement speech, this is what he actually said;
“Thank you. It’s true, and these are the best and the finest. When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime.
They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.
But I speak to border guards and they tell us what we’re getting. And it only makes common sense. It only makes common sense. They’re sending us not the right people”. (e)
Even in this Trump’s harshest statement he does not label all Mexicans as anything. Trump acknowledges that we have a border problem and that border problem is not the good Mexicans coming in but the criminal element coming in.
Crimes committed by illegal Mexican immigrants run in the thousands. It is a problem. Facts are not racist or biased they are facts. The border problem needs to be fixed.
Angels Moms is a group of mothers who got together to help each other through the grief process of their children being murdered by people who were here in our country illegally because the Obama administration refuses to close the border. A policy that Hillary Clinton vows to keep in place.
Hillary Clinton is a against a common sense law (Kate’s Law) and in favor of sanctuary cities.(f)
Trump has the largest Latino support that any republican president has ever had. Trump has many Latino friends and has employed thousands of Latinos.
Myth #3 Trump will start WWIII.
What evidence is there of this? Trump will protect America and her allies, he will take a hard stance against radical Islam which has slaughtered thousand and thousands of people.
Hillary has tens of millions of dollars from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Algeria and Bahrain these are all Sharia compliant countries where women have no rights and homosexuality is punishable by lashing or death. After taking this money these countries received favors from the then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s department. (g) (h)
Hillary Clinton has repeatedly said that the DNC’s emails were hacked by Russia but has never once produced a cable source that backs up her accusations. Even FBI dovecot Comey said that there is no proof of this accusation. Wikileaks leader Julian Apanage has said Russia has given them no information.
Yet Hillary persists in a optics war with Russia.
More dangerously Hillary has said if she is elected president she will institute a no fly zone in Syria. Russian planes are flying over Syria. This would be a declaration of war not only against Syria but against Russia. Gen. Joseph Dunford (Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff)

Myth #4 The Hillary Clinton Foundation is an altruistic beautiful thing which does great good.

Some partisan charity raters have manipulated figures so that travel and salaries are counted as “charity donations” and claim that the foundations is a truly philanthropic endeavor but a moderate reading into the numbers shows the truth.
Less than 10% of the donations made to the foundation have gone to charity and the foundation was put on a watch list and is under a current criminal investigation by the FBI.
Myth # 5 Hillary’s emails are much ado about nothing.
Hillary lied to the FBI. Hillary received and kept confidential emails on a personal server that was hacked.
An Iranian informant was killed because of Hillary’s reckless disregard for the law. (m)

I feel comfortable that there are so many people whose hatred for Hellary is so visceral they won’t just roll over and bite the pillow were she to steal the election. The general level of hatred for her seems to exceed the level for Obama, not that I’m complaining.
Let’s hope that the importance of maintaining the House and, I hope, taking the Senate isn’t lost in the Hellary-Trump dust. We really need the Senate as thr Rats could change the rules for confirming the next Supreme Court justice just as they did for breaking a filibuster. Rats are pouring millions into House and Senate races hoping to fet both houses in their mitts, though if they can pack the Supreme Court Congress can go back to feeding at their troughs, they won’t be needed.

I was always intimidated by that one recipe, because of how many times I’ve seen folks scorch and thus destroy a whole pot of product. (“The roux! The roux! The roux is on fire!”)

I learned how to make roux from a local chef in the early 80s, jes can’t do most Louisiand foods without it. With practice, good ventilation and an understanding fire department it’s not that hard to do.
I make roux from almost light tan to the heavy chocolate and it work in to things from gravy to chili and beef stew. I use lard, clarified butter, peanut oil or olive oil and play with different flours. You can make it and freeze it…comes in handy. I also can make it in the microwave.
I have least trouble using a cast iron pan and a roux or flat-bottoned whisk. You are less likley to burn it if you keep the mix moving, prevents uneven cooking of the roux Toux.
Paul Prudhomme was the one who taught me, in a cooking demonstration, to toss the vegetables for the gumbo into the the roux to saute them before they go into the pot…works with beef stew too.
Try small batches at home and add them to various soups/stews for a new dimension, gravy too.

Hello Stellar friends! I am just back from a week in the Alaskan bush, where my internet time is more limited than when I am at home. I managed an hour a day, just enough to keep up with the most basic of email, Drudge headlines, Stella’s general discussion and fly-by of the Tree. What a week to be skimming lightly instead of digging deeply! I’ll never get caught up on all the Trump rallies I missed, all the jokes and puns, all the commoraderie of Trump supporters. It is good to be home.

In my opinion, Trump might be the safest president we have ever had. He can lead the dark parts of his base toward the light (as Nixon went to China) and he has no incentive for war. Claims about his “temperament” are mostly about his penchant for insults, and that isn’t a mortal danger to anyone.

The idea the status quo can defeat what are now called the “populist” forces in a decisive battle with Trump is an unrealistic one. It won’t happen any more than Navarre’s attempt to bring Giap to decisive battle in Dien Bien Phu had any chance of succeeding.
The status quo will emerge, if it survives Trump, with the Washington Generals disbanded and the Trotters reliant on a 70 year old woman. For them to beat back the challenge they need to win the “hearts and minds” battle with the disenfranchised middle classes. Can Hillary do that? She is precisely the last person to do that.
November 8 will not mark any sort of ending. There are not enough bricks left to rebuild the bridges of trust. The establishment has used them all to build their institutional firewalls. The Day After will simply be the beginning. That is a very sad development. There’s a long dolorous road ahead.
