Judicial Watch: New Benghazi Email Shows DOD Offered State Department “Forces that Could Move to Benghazi” Immediately – Specifics Blacked Out in New Document

    http://www.judicialwatch.org/press-room/press-releases/judicial-watch-new-benghazi-email-shows-dod-offered-state-department-forces-that-could-move-to-benghazi-immediately-specifics-blacked-out-in-new-document/

Judicial Watch today released a new Benghazi email from then-Department of Defense Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash to State Department leadership immediately offering “forces that could move to Benghazi” during the terrorist attack on the U.S. Special Mission Compound in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012. In an email sent to top Department of State officials, at 7:19 p.m. ET, only hours after the attack had begun, Bash says, “we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak.” The Obama administration redacted the details of the military forces available, oddly citing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) exemption that allows the withholding of “deliberative process” information.

    The newly released email reads:

From: Bash, Jeremy CIV SD [REDACTED]
    Sent: Tuesday, September 11, 2012 7:19 PM
To: Sullivan, Jacob J; Sherman, Wendy R; Nides, Thomas R
Cc: Miller, James HON OSD POLICY; Wienefeld, James A ADM JSC VCJCS; Kelly, John LtGen SD; martin, dempsey [REDACTED]
    Subject: Libya

    State colleagues:

I just tried you on the phone but you were all in with S [apparent reference to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton].

After consulting with General Dempsey, General Ham and the Joint Staff, we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak. They include a [REDACTED].

Assuming Principals agree to deploy these elements, we will ask State to procure the approval from host nation. Please advise how you wish to convey that approval to us [REDACTED].

US State dept. can not secure approval for Host Nation support/approval, until the POTUS signs “Cross Border Authority”. What’s very informative in this email, is
Gen. Ham was relieved of command. Why? Consider this; no cross border authority issued by POTUS, told the AF elements to fly over target, “recon”. When this was learned by the political girls at the WH, Ham was relieved.
      Just my thoughts….

POTUS can make a verbal authorization and fill in the forms later. Also possible to authorize DoD to take action ahead of time under certain circumstances with State’s gO-ahead. Appears nothing was done here.
Hamm assembled a reaction force and was ready to deploy it without State or WH aporoval. I’m sure his advanced military education gave him a knowledge of how US SF personnel operating in Laos would be chased for days by Communist forces while MACV personnel would be trying to find Ambassador Sullivan and get his personal permission to rescue them…it was and still is a sore spot for many.
On the other hand there’s that lost footnote that the Israelis offered to help and we’re shelved. There’s little going on in the area that the Israelis and the next door neighbors the Egyptians don’t know about. They both monitor comns traffic and physical movements of as many bad guys as they can, it’s a matter of survival. To say that no onevk ew is a bald-faced lie in my opinion. Even if the various US commands couldn’t get relief/rescue gorces there the Egyptians could have and, considering the circumstances, would have. Ditto the Israelis and I’m betting the Egyptians would have given them wink-of-the-eye overflight privileges. This is BS, there are dead Ameticans and tne WH and Hellary will walk.

Concur with verbal order, don’t want too make a long post. Knew about the SF in Loas from some senior enlisted at Mother Bragg. Your right about Ham, he knew the consequences, and was going anyway. One day, hopefully soon the score will be settled.
Yes, I would have done the same as Ham.

    English Folk Verse (c.1870)
    The Fifth of November

    Remember, remember!
    The fifth of November,
    The Gunpowder treason and plot;
    I know of no reason
    Why the Gunpowder treason
    Should ever be forgot!
    Guy Fawkes and his companions
    Did the scheme contrive,
To blow the King and Parliament
    All up alive.
    Threescore barrels, laid below,
    To prove old England’s overthrow.
But, by God’s providence, him they catch,
With a dark lantern, lighting a match!
    A stick and a stake
    For King James’s sake!
If you won’t give me one,
    I’ll take two,
    The better for me,
    And the worse for you.
A rope, a rope, to hang the Pope,
A penn’orth of cheese to choke him,
A pint of beer to wash it down,
And a jolly good fire to burn him.
Holloa, boys! holloa, boys! make the bells ring!
Holloa, boys! holloa boys! God save the King!
    Hip, hip, hooor-r-r-ray!

This is “Bonfire Night” in the U.K.
When we lived in Scotland, there was a sheep field behind our house. For weeks all the neighborhood would put stuff to burn (tree limbs, furniture, etc) in a huge pile. On Halloween the neighborhood kids would drag a dummy through the streets and knock on doors asking for “a penny for the Guy”. On the 5th, there would be the guy sitting on top of the pile of brush(it was HUGE). The local Royal Navy Band would be there to play patriotic music, the fire would be set, and they would set off a really good fireworks display. Afterwards, everyone would have parties with hot dogs, baked potatoes, chile, beans and other traditional “Fawkes night” fare. Fun for all, except the dogs that were afraid of the fireworks.

Another old post of mine – under a previous POtuS the defense contractors and Federal GSA started buying the super hard bolts from China versus US suppliers. Short version: military had to go back and check every tempered bolt installed in a critical piece of gear over a couple of years. Seems things like planes, helicopters, tanks, trucks – you name it – had the crap bolts installed instead of the proper strength ones.

It’s all about money. In the late 70s DoD couldn’t find a US manufacturer of quality portable manual typewriters, we needed them for our bugout kits. They found ones that we’d load up and take tomfight the Bloc Commies, they were made in East Germany.
We started seeing GSA carrying Chinese hand tools about the same time. US ones were far more expensive, so greedy US makers lost out to China.

I’m kind of tired of defending them. At some point you have to do what is best for your country not what is best for your bank account.

I think big business and even some of the other businesses are all in the same boat with the politicos, they don’t get why so many of us have had enough.
I guess in some ways I can understand their confusion, we’ve been out there doing their bidding while they’ve been laughing all the way to the bank as our country has went to s**t.

It’s not the ‘businesses’ any more than it is the ‘government’, they’re both inanimate objects – problems is always the people in both. By changing the direction of the blame the actors can make it look as if the complainers are nuts and the people making the decisions are under attack by dangerous elements. Whine over.
Icky decisions are msde at all levels of busines and government while prodessional apologists and spinners preoare covers. Without the work, if you can call it that, done bybthe Japanese at site 731 in Manchuria during WWII we’d be decades behind in our ‘disease’ research. Without the work done by the special medical staff at Dachau, not forgetting von Braun, we’d be decades behind in our space program. We spent years whitewashing the Germans and Japanese who, were we not to have needed them, would surely have been hung as war criminals. The US businesses that employed them to build our space war and ‘peaceful’ systems, same companies that were building weapons to fight them scant years before, are now praising their work.
It’s all situational ethics and depends upon the morality of the people determining the limits.

They have an obligation to turn the evidence over to a lawful authority. There should be great concern for anyone in possession of child pornography that involves powerful people that if they turn it over to the wrong authorities the material will disappear and the person who turned the vile garbage in may shoot themselves in the back of the head multiple times.

Solution, turn the evidence over to Sheriff Clarke, Sheriff Joe Apaio, hand it to Keith Schiller or Dan Scavino at a Trump rally (Shiller is always accessible by the crowd as is Scavino). There are a lot of viable options, dangling it on the internet is bullshit and the lowest form of self promotion IMO.)

The entertaining way the Feds compute the SS increases, from top to bottom, is a tribute to Federal head-up-the-nether-eyeitis. They figure ‘inflation’ by jiggling the inputs to minimize damage to the figures that might come back to bite them in their hind brains, just as they do all economic stats. They then cherry pick the use of those figures to compute all Fed retirement increases…just more enlightened policies at work.

The Washington Post has removed an article in which Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s “art” collection was revealed to contain pictures of naked teenagers.

The 2004 article, archived online, includes comments from former Clinton administration official Sally Katzen in which she discusses the “awkwardness” of being at the Podesta’s home.

“At political events, there’s an inevitable awkwardness,” Katzen said.

The article’s author goes on to mention the disturbing specifics of the Podestas’ taste in “art.”

“Folks attending a house tour in the Lake Barcroft neighborhood in Falls Church earlier this year got an eyeful when they walked into a bedroom at the Podesta residence hung with multiple color pictures by Katy Grannan, a photographer known for documentary-style pictures of naked teenagers in their parents’ suburban homes.”

Podesta also collects imagery depicting cannibalism and is a known friend of occult and gore obsessed performer Marina Abramović.

Teenagers In Macedonia Launch Fake Pro-Trump Sites To Earn Money

    https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/aug/24/facebook-clickbait-political-news-sites-us-election-trump

“In Macedonia the economy is very weak and teenagers are not allowed to work, so we need to find creative ways to make some money,” one 17-year-old told BuzzFeed News, which reports on a “strange hub” of over 140 political sites, all being run in the same small town in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
These sites have American-sounding domain names such as WorldPoliticus.com, TrumpVision365.com, USConservativeToday.com, DonaldTrumpNews.co, and USADailyPolitics.com. They almost all publish aggressively pro-Trump content aimed at conservatives and Trump supporters in the U.S… The young Macedonians who run these sites say they don’t care about Donald Trump. They are responding to straightforward economic incentives… The fraction-of-a-penny-per-click of U.S. display advertising — a declining market for American publishers — goes a long way in Veles. Several teens and young men who run these sites told BuzzFeed News that they learned the best way to generate traffic is to get their politics stories to spread on Facebook — and the best way to generate shares on Facebook is to publish sensationalist and often false content that caters to Trump supporters… Most of the posts on these sites are aggregated, or completely plagiarized, from fringe and right-wing sites in the U.S…

Earlier this year they experimented with fake sites supporting Bernie Sanders, “but nothing performed as well on Facebook as Trump content,” according to the 16-year-old who operates BVANews.com. The largest Macedonian sites now have hundreds of thousands of followers on Facebook, and sources close to one site say it earns $5,000 per month, and has even earned $3,000 in a single day.

Trump has added two rallies tomorrow – one in Michigan, and one in Virginia. That makes FIVE!

I open tomorrow, and have to figure out the math on how to make 2/5 of a batch of sausage gravy.

I know how to follow the recipe, and it’s very simple, for a 5 lb. bulk sausage batch, but all I have is a two-pound package.

But math. Arrrgh! Anyone? It’s just sausage, butter, flour, milk, h&h, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt. I’m no roux-master, though. And the recipe is no longer codified. The old way, and the last time I made it as a prep cook two years ago, used a roux base, and not actual flour, and also used three times more pans. My Mehican comes in at 7. We’ll make it work.

      Amazing video and artists.

Oh Wonder is a couple who made an album in their flat in the UK. They produced and released, as promised, one track per month for free on YouTube, for fifteen months. I bought the CD.

      Their first album is eponymous.

    Reminder…

This weekend we can sleep in an extra hour as we “fall back” into Standard Time and longer nights.

Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, which means you’ll want to turn your old-school clocks back before you go to bed Saturday night, Nov. 5.
