Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been targeted by vandals, who smashed it so badly that chunks of the star are missing from the sidewalk.
Los Angeles police received a report on Tuesday that someone was threatening to vandalize the star. When officers went to check it out, the damage had been done.
The words have been scratched off, and the brass medallion is gone.
Police set up a tent to cover the star and placed traffic markers around it. Officers are doing extra patrols in Hollywood as a result.

Speaking to Deadline, the vandal, who said his name was Jamie Otis, indicated that he originally intended to remove Trump’s star so to auction it off next month to raise funds for the women who have come forward to accuse the ex-Apprentice host of sexually assaulting them over the decades. [Editor’s Note: It’s unclear how that would happen as the star would be stolen property.]

Still cannot believe that he was not caught in the act by police, that no one tried to stop him….H3ll the video goes on for how long.
It took the guy a good 5 to 10 mins to do the damage.
I let lose on Hollywood and LA on twitter—Hollywood hit me back with saying they were doing all they could.

My town, and indeed, my cluster of counties in SW MI has no actual mosques. No minarets. My second-saddest thought is when we get one, against our will, in our county or in our city.
My saddest thought is who is the first wonderful young woman I’ve worked with in the last 9 years to be raped by a Muslim after that happens. So far, it’s none. Should I start a betting pool? Who’ll be the first victim of a Muslim, and the second, and the tenth? Would that be illegal? It’s not a recognized sport here, right? Or do we need to recognize that rape IS actually a sport for Muslims and disallow betting on it on that basis?
If we elect Hillary, one of my friends will be the tenth, eventually.

Call me racist or whatever you want but it has hit home in this sleepy area of Southeast Washington/Northeast Oregon…Crime rate has risen more than 100% in the 10 years I have been here , with at least weekly drive byes. Watch the news covering of many of the murder/assault trials–its not just the Hispanic last names but the need for an interpreter in around 4 out of 5 of the cases . The need for an interpreter is one very telling fact to me
