You know, a lot of people don’t have a problem with terminating a pregnancy in the first few months, but they do not realize that it is legal to do it in many states right up to birth. That will have been an eye opener to them. I am not suggesting that they are right, just that their pro-abortion feelings are predicated on that misunderstanding.

Let’s not forget that ‘right ip to birth’ in a number of states means a latter-day Mengele can crush the skull of a visble, full-term child and legally murder it as long as it still has one toe in mom. I can also take you up to and introduce people who are working slowly but surely to make it legal to euthanize ‘broken’ children and adults as they consume valuable and finite resources that could be better used in support of productive members of society like…ohhhhh…illegal immigrants and legal Moslem terrorist imports.

There is no authority organization or figure you can trust, for anything, at any level, to honestly evaluate anything in the world at this point. If you don’t know it or understand it yourself, don’t trust it.

Never, ever invest in anything that you don’t understand their business model and how they are making money, what their risks are, etc. Don’t take a CPA’s word for it. If you don’t know and understand the details yourself, don’t do it.

Don’t trust the FDA, USDA, Moody’s, S&P’s, the Vatican, or anything else. It is critical to educate yourself on the things that matter to you. If you are taking the word of someone else, there is a high likelihood you are getting the short end of the stick.

All the credentialing agencies are corrupt. You can’t trust college degrees. There is nothing left anymore that you can trust as reliable.

The future will be building your own network of people you have verifiable trust in. Then, you will be able to start taking the word of people you know intimately, and trust people they trust. Trusted networks will arise over time again, but it will increase opportunity costs across the board. It takes time and effort to verify people, and we used to be able to trust various credentialing sources to build that trust. Instead, we must now distrust by default, and that makes all trade interactions more expensive.

Trust is essential to a robust economy. It’s just one more way the deceptions of the diabolical libs have destroyed our society. Instead, we have to turn back to the 10 Commadments. They aren’t rules to get into Heaven by. They are rules to have a stable civilization. They are rules that humanity has learned to prove over time as true, for a functional and peaceful society. They aren’t arbitrary rules imposed by a tyrant god to control his subjects.

Thou shalt not bear false witness. It undermines everything.

ME dictators blame the Jews. Baby boomers blame the Soviets/Russians. It is almost a certainty that we will be at war against Russia if Hillary gets elected, and if so, I hope they kick our ass.

        Seems like a reasonable explanation.

Fulton Sheen said of Russia that they are straddled with the cross but no Christ so the citizenry there is searching for Christ and will find him whereas the US citizenry is drunk on a merciful all forgiving Christ while it ignores the cross so the cross will find the US.

Did he now? That will ring true, I believe. The Eastern Orthodox church is currently experiencing a revival in Russia, and I keep making the point elsewhere that in the year 2016 the only nation on earth actively fighting to protect Christians from being beheaded by ISIS are the Russians. What the fruits of that will be, I don’t know, but it will bear fruit.

I’m too young to have known Bishop Sheen. I’ve seen a couple of clips of him. Seems like he would have a target-rich environment these days. I wonder what he would say about Francis?

“The problem now is: Will the Cross, which Communism hold in its hands, find Christ before the sentimental Christ of the Western world finds the Cross? It is our belief that Russia will find the Christ before the western world unites Christ with His Redemptive Cross”.

“The Western post-Christian civilization has picked up the Christ without His Cross. But a Christ without a sacrifice that reconciles the world to God is a cheap, feminized, colorless, itinerant preacher who deserves to be popular for His great Sermon on the Mount, but also merits unpopularity for what He said about His Divinity on the one hand, and divorce, judgment, and hell on the other. This sentimental Christ is patched together with a thousand commonplaces. […] Without His Cross, He becomes nothing more than a sultry precursor of democracy or a humanitarian who taught brotherhood without tears”.

There are more great quotes from Sheen.

I was too little to know of Fulton Sheen while he was alive and raised in a very anti Catholic home so I didn’t hear of him until I was in my mid twenties? But I fell in love with his writings, many of which I have forgotten now but his comment about Russia always stuck with me.

I think Pope Francis is the exact kind of pope Fulton Sheen feared would mislead his flock.

Our priest has spoken some on the effeminate version of Christ that modern Christianity has tried to foist on us and he has contrasted even the artwork portraying an androgynous Jesus against the man who threw the moneychangers out, endured torture, carried his cross after that torture, and died on it, all while fighting the most epic spiritual battle, as well as the physical one, ever fought. Jesus was a man, and he had no gender confusion.

By the way if Putin is interfering in our election it is because Putin (KGB man that he is) is at the core of his soul a nationalist who would do anything for the motherland, Putin knows Hillary will do anything for money. Everything under Clinton’s control would have a price tag on it, Putin and Russia have already benefited from this. Everything except the unfettered expansion of Sharia savages being with welcome with open arms into the USA.

Putin knows that means the destruction of the US and as goes the US so goes the rest of the world.

Something that slipped by me during the debate, but just saw someone comment about on FB. Hillary said how long it takes from the time the order of nukes until nukes fly is 4 minutes.

I did not know that, but how many do know that and did she just release a big secret?

    Like

    • Cetera says:

That is probably a big deal. It means that if they can kill our counter-launch abilities within 4 minutes + however long it takes for the decision to be made and the orders to go out, you can win a nuclear war. You just have to have a fast enough, and large enough, strike to take out all the retaliatory capabilities before they can launch on you.

At one point in time, it was aknolwlaged that the intercontinental ballistic missile treaties were a sham. We (and the USSR) had enough ships, subs, and planes with nuclear tipped tomahawk sized style missiles not covered by the ban, as to take out every city on the globe three times over. I would assume the 4 minutes is process driven rather than a limitation in equipment. I’m also going to assume other countries that care about such things have known for decades about any existing order to launch window.

  49. Cetera says:

That question from Wallace to DJT asking if he supported Russia interfering with the election was this debate’s gotcha question. Wallace snuck it in a bit more craftily than the other moderators just dumping it at the end as the last question, but it was still planned, and carefully. Any answer Trump gives will be used against him, either to classify him as an extreme outsider, a foreigner, working with foreign powers to overthrow the U.S. gov’t, or to push back on the “Russian” hacks and leaks.

There was only one possible answer Trump could have given that would have not resulted in any negatives for him and would also have been such a strong pivot it would have crushed Hillary in the debate. It goes something like this:

“Once upon a time, America used believe in the Truth. Not just a little truth, but the big Truth. Truth, Justice, and the American Way. Remember that?

During the darkest times of the Cold War, when many souls were trapped behind an Iron Curtain, we used to run Free Radio Europe. We broadcast the truth to those poor souls living under oppression and constantly bombarded with propaganda from their masters. We told them what was going on in the world. We told them what their governments were doing, and what we were doing about it. We offered them Truth, and we offered them hope.

Many of the tyrants ruling over and oppressing that populace we used to speak to, to broadcast the Truth, would certainly claim that we were interfering in their politics, their rigged elections. We weren’t, of course. We were simply being honest, and spreading peace through the Truth. We were exposing the lies they were being told by their corrupt politicians. That isn’t taking a side, unless of course you think that it is a valid option to oppress free peoples, take away their choice, take away their freedoms.

I am for the Truth. There is no evidence that these leaks are coming from Russia. Even if the hacks were coming from Russia, does it matter? They are exposing the lies, the corruption, the pay-for-play schemes, the crimes, and the efforts of this woman to take away your freedom of speech, and your ability to vote. I am for the Truth. The truth is that Hillary Clinton has paid for violence against my supports. She has committed felonies. The argument isn’t over the truthfulness of these allegations, but against the source. If they are the Truth, (to borrow a phrase I heard once), what difference does it make, at this point, where they came from?”
