Well, that’s not the Michigan I saw portrayed on ABC’ ‘Designated Survivor’ program tonite. Where’s that evil, white, presumably Republican governor who, in the wake of a devastating attack on DC that decapitated the government, allowed extra-Constitutional arrest and imprisonment of Moslem citizens without benefit of charges or council? Who allowed police to beat innocent Moslem citizens on the street and who (gasp!) dared tominvoke the long-dead 10th Amendment in a national emergency! Nay, I say, this must be an alternative Michigan!

Yes, he was a nebische HUD secretary who misses the State of the Union address. Soneone still unknown blows up the Capital, killing the POTUS,,VP and entire line of succession down to him. The extra-hawky DoD brass somehow missed the address toonsomthry’re all pushing for nuking anyone while the remaining goverment bureaucrats with an eye on the prize are hinting at a coup to replace our hapless hero.
Lsdt night it was about Michigan whose governor made the unforgivable sin of tellingbthe POTUS that he was the supreme power in Michigan and responsible for protectingbthe safety ofvits people. ‘Bauer’ quiclyntold him he didn’t know jack and the Federal Government was in charge on Michigan, not the governor or its residents.
Police were gang-beating Moslem-looking citizens in the street, State Police were willy-nilly rounding up Moslem-looking people without charges and imprisoning them – made me wonder if the Hollyork crowd didn’t sit down over organic, free-trade tofu sandwiches and write this one out-of-sequence just to help Hellary.

And don’t forget the moslem-looking speech writer for President Nebische who was harassed by the DC police for walking while looking moslem. The part is played, if you recall, by the gay actor who swooned for Barry Soetero back in 2008, left his co-starring role on House and moved to DC to be Barry’s “assistant” on the days that Reggie Love wasn’t available. That lasted a few months, until his adoration wasn’t sufficient for Barry’s needs.

    • It’s a very disturbing story. I can’t imagine our Father in heaven is at all pleased. All the genetic toying that’s been going on the last ten or so years could be our Tower of Babel before long.

I’m pretty sure he hasn’t been pleased with us for quite a while.

He did gift us with Obama, after all. That was only the beginning of our nation’s chastisement.

And yes, it is a disturbing story. To most people with a conscience.

God’s Grace is amazing, in that it doesn’t allow us to become overly “disturbed”. We’ve all seen horrifying atrocities, even b&w pics from German or Cambodian death camps. The case of Jessica Chambers. The entire autopsies of Christian and Newsom. The details of the Bataclan massacre. The whole, sick account of the Beslan massacre. The whole history of Planned Parenthood. Flash robberies/mobberies/beatings against my people just for fun, including a construction hammer to the head of an old vet.

I think that is amazing, actually. All of those events have made me weep, and yet not be “depressed”, but instead live and love everyone more.

Out of all those stories, those heinous acts, the one that is most disturbing — and yet still not more than we can handle — is the overarching fact that some of us have detailed knowledge of them, and that most around us don’t, nor do they want to because ignorance is bliss. Back to our televisions, where we can feed on fictional atrocity carried out by villains we’re more comfortable with than those in real life, and where we can have all our beliefs affirmed by our idols, the cool people.

TV is the atrocity that makes the rest go unnoticed.

My first comment is that the US made it about 12 years as the founders created it and started changing with the election of Jefferson. Every post I read that has our current troubles starting in the 1960’s or even the beginning of the 20th century just gets me questioning the authors conclusions and analysis since 100 years or more of factors is missing.

The Waukesha rally was the very best one I have been to.

We started with a prayer acknowledging to God that we were coming before him without rose colored glasses and pleaded with him for the soul of our country.

Sheriff Clarke, Tommy Thomson and Mayor Giuliani (who I had never seen seen live) were all exceptional.

The people were all incredible and diverse also, I was in line with a young man from Marquette University Law School, he has his MBA and also his real estate license and said more millenials are in Trumps corner than the MSM would like us to believe. I saw two people who I have served meals to at our food outreach program for the poor. I met a farmer and a single guy wealthy enough to retire at 52.

It was a very positive energetic atmosphere. People were happy. I got there at 2 pm and was about 8 deep in the standing crowd on the floor right in front of Trump. I believe there must have been 2000 people still outside after we were at capacity.

3 protesters with “Don’t eat animals it makes me cry” type signs 🙄 were eventually throw out on their ears.

It was obvious the MSM was looking for people to make Trump look bad. Something that backfired on the bastage reporters was that that they interviewed this young woman and her husband (husband was dressed like Hillary in prison orange holding a “Hillary for Prison” sign 😂 )

The young lady stated clearly and coherently some of Clintons crimes which did not properly feed the $%*&@#$* reporters appetite so he pulled out what he assumed would be an ace in the hole and said to the woman “Surely you can’t approve of Trump calling Miss Venezuela Miss Piggy.” The young lady threw up her hand and said “Why would I care?” 😂

A bad day for the reporter.

Already a long post so I’ll talk about Trump in a another post.

Many of us here have likely watched men or women who we met personally and knew maybe only as a candidate and politician but had some personal insight into before they became Washington sycophants.

For me my personal experience that I will share is Paul Ryan. I do not and never have known him personally. But I did see him at functions before he became Romney’s VP. I saw him the day after he was named VP and came to Waukesha and stood on the stage and cried like a little girl overwhelmed by the outpouring of goodwill that his home state was showering on him. Paul was touched by the humbling moment he was a real person in search of a better America.

Fast forward a month or two and Paul was back in town for a town hall.

Paul was not the humble man who cried in gratitude for the opportunity that was afforded him instead he was a passionless Stepford candidate. Watching Paul was painful as he knocked off his approved talking points and he was visibly relieved when his speech was over with. Paul had stayed on script. Good dog. DC daddies would be pleased. Ka-ching!

    Watching Trump talk last night using a teleprompter was an entirely different experience for 3 reasons;

    1) The words were obviously still Trumps not some pablum winnowed to please the fence sitters, it was not a tightrope walk to please the powers in DC or a script, it was a more disciplined and streamlined Trump. An unapologetic America first speech spoken from the heart.

    2) Trump left the script often. It was obvious he would rather speak off the cuff and obvious that he was not afraid of displeasing his handlers because Trump has no handlers.

    3) Trump was not “just getting through” he was happy to be where he was. He was not afraid of making a mistake and blowing it.

In short Trump is a leader and it came through loud and clear last night.

Paul Ryan like so many others who may or may not have had noble intentions at one time are now what they quickly became days after becoming DC elites. They are mouth pieces of the oligarchy and more dangerous than simply being their mouthpieces they are malicious promoters of the agenda that the elites of DC are pushing which will be the demise of our Republic.

And that in a nutshell is the difference between candidate Trump and all the politicians who have promised to fix America and then thrown her over a cliff. They throw all of their promises over the cliff in the pursuit of power and personal gain amongst their new lifeblood the DC aristocracy and they will never again, not once in their lifetime put the American people or America itself above their lust for power, wealth and allegiance to their master the DC Oligarchy.

This is the difference between Trump and every other politician. Trump has been at the top of the food chain and he is not desperately trying to get there at the expense of Americans or America.

Dog Ross @ Journal quote of the day, from CTH: [expanded by Wooly]:

Hillary Clinton has been a disaster for so many communities, but especially for African-American communities. I don’t think African-Americans are going to come out and vote for Clinton – they are too smart, and they know they are being used. They also know that she’ll do nothing for them once the election is over – she never does, and that will never change.

Same thing goes for Hispanic voters – they are tired of being used by people like Hillary Clinton, that have no intention of doing anything for them once the election is over.

58% of African-American youth don’t have jobs. There is another shooting in Chicago every 2 hours. 45% of African-American children under the age of six are living in poverty.

The inner cities have been left behind.

Crime is through the roof, public education is a disaster, there are no jobs, it’s dangerous to walk down the street with your child. To the African-American community, I say: what do you have to lose? Vote for Donald Trump, I will fix it.

I will fight for you harder than anyone has ever fought for you before.

    –Donald Trump
