   The Guard should be especially interested in Trump as if Hellary wins the Guard will become her bitch in the social engineering process. The Guard holds the potential on a number of levels, a true double-edged sword for her.

     Czar, Overwhelming agree with your post. These are America’s Citizen Solders. In the active force, you have very limited rights, very limited. I think Guard/Reserve forces subscribe and live by the words of General George Washington, when taking up the soldiers life we do not give up the rights of the citizen. Something to that effect…….

       It may be easier for DC to get the Guard in the blue states to be its neo-gestapo but even then it won’t be a shoo-in. The President can take control of the Guard under a number of circumstances but you can bet governors will fight it as will lot of the Guard. That’s why my scenario is one where the Guard in state ‘A’ is mobilized for duty in state ‘B’.
       The Guards a big piece in play on the big board and I’m not sure any side knows how they’ll play.
