Excerpt from an email from Senate Republicans.

If you’re tired of electing spineless Republicans who constantly cut liberal deals with the Democrats, now is your chance to fight back.

We have identified eight conservative candidates who will keep their word after the election and fight to support and defend the Constitution.

First of all, I doubt most would stand up to scrutiny. Second, they are attempting to brag that there are eight people who keep the vow they made? Guess who isn’t sending them money? Me, and most other voters too I’m guessing.

    Update:
Having left my purse in the N. Georgia mountains, I have found myself much more stressed than I would have thought. I am constantly reaching for it, looking for it,, and I feel unbalanced…Today I went to the thrift store to get a temporary replacement, and I applied for a replacement driver’s license. I had to promise to destroy the one that was left behind.. actually I feel better,, it was $11 well spent. I did remember to check the organ donor box. Somehow I really, really thought I could muddle through a few weeks, but I was wrong.. With so much going on all around, this one little snafu was like a rock in my shoe.

The little dog and I went to the vet today. She has a tooth and ear infection. 😦 Pending blood work she will have a tooth extraction next week. More later on our wonderful journey 😐

That’s expensive. My dog has had to have extractions twice. Fortunately, the first time she was already having eye surgery, and the surgeon offered to do the extraction at a bargain price at the same time.

$450.00 for the the whole kit and caboodle for the teeth cleaning and 1 extraction, the price goes up if more teeth need to be pulled. Today was not as bad but included, blood work, an examination, 3 medications, an ear wash and rabies shot.

We had to muzzle her for the exam because she is so high strung, they had to muzzle her to take blood but she managed to get her nail into the muzzle and pull it out of her foot. So her foot is wrapped. The vet was very good and kind and said, something like yes she is high strung but not the worst I’ve seen.

Did I mention since she was screaming when I touched her sometimes that I bought a carrier, a carrier with zippers and canvas and a metal mesh so she can see out, driving home she managed to break the seam of the metal mesh away from the canvas.

It was like the scene from that movie where an alien pops its head out of a body. Of course I was going 70 down the freeway.

        All ended well.

Dog refused to eat canned dog food this morning (grain free Blue Buffalo chicken). I threw away food after a couple of hours, and offered cold roast chicken. Dog ate it as fast as she could swallow. The rice cooked with broth and carrots is now cooling. I’ll add peas and canned chicken, then we will try that for dinner.

MOTUS has a good post up today:
    http://www.michellesmirror.com/2016/09/everything-you-need-to-know-about.html#.V9Lpfa1Qpf0
which is built around this article:
    http://www.claremont.org/crb/basicpage/the-flight-93-election/
which is a bit long but mostly very good. However, a few lines make my blood boil and come shooting out of my eyes (or wherever).

The truth is that Trump articulated, if incompletely and inconsistently, the right stances on the right issues—immigration, trade, and war—right from the beginning.
Where and when, exactly, has Trump been incomplete or inconsistent? In the last 30 years, much less in the last year?

Trump is the most liberal Republican nominee since Thomas Dewey. He departs from conservative orthodoxy in so many ways that National Review still hasn’t stopped counting. But let’s stick to just the core issues animating his campaign. On trade, globalization, and war, Trump is to the left (conventionally understood) not only of his own party, but of his Democratic opponent.
Really? Based on what, exactly, is Trump to the left of the RNC and Hillary Clinton??

Perhaps he is throwing these unfounded and unsupported claims into the article to hook the never-Trumpers into reading and considering the rest of his argument, which is absolutely true: we have run out of time, folks. This is our LAST CHANCE to save the republic. We will not survive four years (much less eight) of Hillary Clinton as president. If that is his reason, I hope it works. But it still makes my blood boil. Read the whole thing, it is worth it.

BTW, if you have the time read: https://fas.org/irp/congress/2007_rpt/berger.pdf

It’s the report on Berger’s theft of classifed materials and you’ll notice, especially where he stole untold numbers of emails, the espisode sounds like it was written and directed by Hellary.
