You see, that’s why we need democracy: you can’t have a vital, functioning and successful government with trash leadership ‘experts’ in government that are actually oligarchs/dicktators and never held a dirt-under-the-fingernails job in their lives.
Before the US the world went thru cycles of famine that wiped out untold numbers. Not the oligarchs, just the working class. The US is the first nation in history not only to feed its people as well as it does but export, fir salevand for free, enough food to keep nations full of the neo-oligarchs’ subjects fed. Nothing breeds violent revolt like hunger.

Obama has done his best to accomplish that mission. I sure hope Trump can fight the libs and GOPe and get it reversed or at least headed down the right track. Thankfully it seems that God isn’t finished with us yet and is giving us an opportunity to correct course.

I agree! Best in the summer, when you can get up into the high passes and see the wildflowers (look up Yankee Boy Basin), but it’s a big ski destination. Littered with too many celebrities is the only criticism I have.

The edited video is yet another lying log on the left-wing garbage fire that is CNN, and yet in just three weeks, this very same garbage fire is hosting the next Republican presidential debate!
What exactly does CNN have to do in order to lose its right to depose these candidates for two hours in front of the whole world? If CNN is already maliciously editing video to “take out” out the frontrunner, I don’t even want to speculate.

They are Mute Swans, the government can kill them at will because they are an invasive species, normal hunters not so much, ($3000.00 fine, reckless conduct and criminal penalties), thankfully they are on a private lake and no one on the lake would shoot them.
That said…..
A couple of the older gentlemen do bemoan that the swans keep the geese away, which is true. But, they keep them away in the Spring and Summer, which keeps the lake cleaner and the cygnets are big enough around geese hunting season that the geese are allowed back on the lack by the parents.
I didn’t even know people eat swans. I Googled it and they said that they taste fishy?

As with all game, their flavor is determined by what they’ve been eating lately. We have huge migratory flocks of tundra swan and trumpeter swan in the spring and summer here, and they are mostly eating berries and seeds from the vast areas of open tundra. That diet gives their meat a very sweet flavor, highly prized by the Yup’ik Eskimo people. I’ve had swan soup and it was not at all fishy tasting.

Well that makes perfect sense. It seems like our swans eat mostly vegetation, like seed-weed and other water plants so I was wondering why it would taste fishy 🙄. I’ll try to remember to engage my brain 🙂 .

Funny thing is he was a hunter and hunted the geese. He was reported for feeding them and the raccoons, possums, and whatever other animal ambled up to his home. He finally stopped doing it on a large scale when he was fined. But he and his wife still feed the geese now and again and the raccoons.

How to screw up your whole day:
Put on your Crocs and get on your ATV to take what was supposed to be a short inspection trip. At the point where you get off your ATV to do the inspection you don’t do a visual inspection of the tall grass aroubd you, fail to notice the large level head rake buried in the grass…tines up. Jump off ATV, landing full-force on your heel, driving one on the almost 3″ tines thru the heel of your Croc and well into the heel of your foot. Raise foot, look at rake hanging off, say a dirty word or two and pull rake out of foot.
Drive bsck to house, put foot in bucket of epsom salts, pull down bottle of reserve antibiotics and reschedule your entire &@$%#€£¥ day.

Could only have been one of the two of us and neither’s admitting it. Most likely the racoons used it to knock persimmons out of the trees and didn’t put it back the responsible way we would have.
It was down at the end of the dam where we judt let the grass grow, it was buried in 10-inch high pasture grass. That was before it was buried in my foot…live and learm.

Nah, soaked it in epsom salts, let the dog lick and am taking augmentin. I had all of mybshots updated before I retired and I’ve had enough DPT shots tonallow me tonsleep,on rusty nails on an Olongapo bar floor. Had a pretty good and short R Lee Ermy moment, then just got back to the business of pulling it out of my foot…no other viable options really.

Eat a little yogurt with each dose of Augmentin if you want to avoid it’s most common side effect, which can resemble Montezuma’s revenge. And be sure you’ve got some anti-fungal cream for about 5 days from now when the jock itch sets in. Otherwise, elevate and ice pack as much as possible. Does czarina have a nurse’s cap like Wee Weed’s? Ya might be needing some help.

We leave some tools down there to deal with the infamous ‘beaver dam’. One of us most likely leaned it against one of the bushes and the wind storms we had just blew it down. The gras there’s seldom cut as we let it grow to seed, also the denser it is the more it woll resist water if it blows over/tops the dam-dam.
As soon as I get the backhoe attachment in for the tractor doing the beaver-dam b hand will be a thing of the pastp.

Yesterday I drove 250 miles and realized I left my purse on a rock in the driveway…At least I didn’t injure myself… but my pride, oh , that hurt! I am glad that today is not yesterday, and not yet tomorrow.

Yes, thank goodness. I called my new tennis friend, who lives nearby, so she put my purse in the house.. Very nice people there in Northern Georgia. I wasn’t worried about it getting stolen, I just hated to think about it getting rained on, it was brand new.. I buy a purse like once every five years!

FDA’s ordered handsoap manufacturers to remove the antibacterial ingredients. I can sortbof agree with that for a couple of reasons but their ‘they may make bugs more resistant to antibiotics’ is crap. The Fed agencies have thrown so many barriers in front of developments that it’s amazing we’re not looking at the bugs under a microscope and trying to stab them with a needle.
A lot of R&D is going on in China, an adjunct to their biowar program…or so paranoids unofficially tell me…so don’t PO the Chinese or the next time some mysterious superbug comes our way things may not go well.

I am of the firm opinion that the eventual pinnacle of Biowarfare will involve agents that can use the targets’ DNA to discriminate ethnically and thereby erase all but a single sector of humanity. WARNING, WARNING: Hillery is speaking in NC. She has used up her quota of lies for the day. I heard a little of what she said and muted her. The stuff she is saying about Trump is totally absurd. And, she went on and on about NC trying to stop blacks from voting. I will admit she clarified that to “disadvantaged people” or something. She is yelling and poking her finger and acting all indignant as she lies about Trump. SMH
