    The Press and Pollsters Are Putting Too Much Cornstarch in the Cherry Pie

    http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2016/08/the_press_and_pollsters_are_putting_too_much_cornstarch_in_the_cherry_pie.html

    As Mickey Kaus has long noted, many polls are “hamburger helper polls”, that is designed to advance a point of view of the press organs which engage the pollsters so they can promote as fact what is merely their opinion.

    In any event, the recent coverage of the election by the major media suggest to me that they are panicking and throwing in as much as they can to make Hillary look as if she were a far better candidate — or at least Trump a far weaker one — than is the case. Obama’s unpresidential and unprecedented attack on Trump, the low turnout at her rallies (and cancellation of some of her appearances), the huge turnout everywhere for Trump, the promoting of the Khan phony baloney story, the Reuters polling change, the daily press sleight of hand all suggest to me panic there is on the left.

    Restored Pompeii kitchens show how Romans cooked The Local Italy
    http://www.thelocal.it/20160802/refurbished-pompeii-kitchens-show-how-ancient-romans-cooked

    The ancient Roman kitchens of a Pompeii launderette have once again been kitted out with pots and pans as part of a new project that is trying to give visitors a sense of what day-to-day life in the city was like.

              Well, I’m sure there are people here who would call it bleak…………but, only because it has been overcast for a SECOND day. Floridians can’t handle not seeing the sun two days in a row. LOL We had a little storm come through about 4:30 this morning. A little thunder and lightning and about 1/2 inch of rain, but just overcast and a little mist since then.

      I visited Pompeii in 1976. It was fascinating. The mosaics on the walls in the baths, the fact they actually had one way and two way streets. They even had pipes carrying running water throughout the city. It truly was something to see!

    Headlines from the Washington Examiner

    http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/cotton-clinton-discussed-executed-iranian-scientist-on-email/article/2598807

    Tom Cotton’s quote should have the Hilllabeast arrested for Treason. I expect more of these emails to surface in the coming weeks.
    Stella, hopefully our neighbors are looking at this information and more. Cotton made his comments on CBS’s Slay the Nation…….need to look or video tape of Cotton making this charge.

      More from Sen. Tom Cotton;
      “I’m not going to comment on what he may or may not have done for the United States government, but in the emails that were on Hillary Clinton’s private server, there were conversations among her senior advisors about this gentleman,” he said on “Face the Nation.” Cotton was speaking about Shahram Amiri, who gave information to the U.S. about Iran’s nuclear program.”
      “The senator said this lapse proves she is not capable of keeping the country safe.”

      Now in what context, did Hilllabeast discuss this payed informant?
