I found out when my girls were young that there are hairless guinea pigs 😳. the dark ones look like little hippopotamuses. Thankfully they already had their pet limit when they found one that they wanted to add “the cutest thing ever” to their menagerie.

My middle daughter had an albino guinea pig who didn’t move around a lot. When the daughter was about 6 we were out shopping and she suddenly yells, “Mom! I left Shuggy on my bed!” So we rushed home with me having visions of a guinea pig starting a colony in my walls but the unmotivated critter was still just sitting there on the bed wrapped in a towel.

Sometimes I wonder if the whole point of all this deluge of news about Clinton, her emails, aides and others giving testimony, State Department, FBI, DOJ, Lynch meeting Bill, on and on…is just to get all of us so sick and tired of it and so confused that we’ll be relieved almost when “they” probably come to the end and finally give us the news and, however the gobbledygook is presented, it will be that nothing is going to happen (well maybe a slap on the wrist.)

Everyone has their idea, their spin, their theory about every aspect of this mess. The other day, a headline sounded like Huma had spilled the beans. Of course, I rushed to read the scandalous “beans”, which turned out to be nothing. Then everyone going crazy about Lynch meeting Clinton. Even next door, someone posted the headline from the NYT and said she had recused herself. The article itself said, not far down, the exact opposite. The incorrect statement was corrected, but the point is all the confusion and the huge number of hours spent with everyone and his brother talking endlessly about the airport meeting. Rush has his theory, which I had to listen to because my husband had him on while he was driving me to the doctor. People all over the place, hollering that Lynch should have recused herself. Media pundits in a lather, stirring the pot. Why in the world, in the reality we live in today, would anyone believe that Lynch would remove herself from this process? Legal ethics? No..only if she had been told to by her boss.

Then I read yesterday that the FBI was going to Clinton’s home to do their interview. What?! How polite and respectful of them. Now the Clinton aide said Clinton went to FBI headquarters. The interview lasted 3 1/2 hours. So Greta sent out several tweets about how bad she thought it was for Clinton to talk to the FBI for that long, and that if she were her lawyer she would have advised against it. In an interview of this nature with the FBI, are lawyers not allowed in the room? Was it only her and FBI agents? Many people are absolutely convinced that Clinton is going to be brought to justice. How many of you guys believe that?

We have learned to see through the parsing of words, the hypocrisy, the corruption and double-dealing. We can recognize it, but that doesn’t mean that we know everything that’s going on. It’s what we don’t know that is the problem. So we’re left with trying to figure things out, without full access to all the truth. It’s a type of informed and educated guessing game. I’m tired of trying to understand the current truth, only to find that whole parts of the foundation of my education and information were false to start with; or to be told 20 or 30 years later that the truth of something back then wasn’t the real truth…now we’ll tell you the real truth.
