The wife of the Orlando mass shooter, Noor Mateen, 30, is being considered for possible criminal charges, officials said.
Noor Mateen provided a statement to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, saying she knew about her husband’s plan to carry out a mass shooting at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub, but didn’t do anything to stop it, a source told Channel 9’s Karla Ray.
The source said an arrest is possible.Channel 9 legal analyst legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said authorities need more evidence before they can make an arrest.
“In order to successfully prosecute the wife, they’re going to have to show she did something in furtherance of that crime,” Sheaffer said.
Omar Mateen, 29, was shot and killed by law enforcement Sunday after he opened fire inside Pulse nightclub, killing 49 people and injuring 53 others.

She needs to be prosecuted and found guilty to scare other family members into having some balls to turn in their family member who is up to something like this. Of course, since they probably agree with what he did, it might not make any difference at all.

The only reason that Noor is not in a cinderblock cell right now is that someone very powerful does not want her there.

Yes but I would not have been thinking about it, I would want it gone and I doubt I would think of about anything other than destroying it in the heat of the moment that I found out it was a gift from satan.

OK, so I have read the shooter has two ex wives and a girlfriend. All say he was violent. Isn’t that the Sharia way? Perhaps these women were more Americanized than they realized and didn’t like being treated like a sub-human. Wasn’t he just acting in accordance with his religion?
