BTW, considering the tenor of your posts this evening/morning, I assume that no ill befell the czarina during her vehicular excursion earlier.

I will leave the details of the operation up too Czar. Many regional, national, and international resources were used. I flew the first operational drone, “invisible”. Just a great feeling, “plowing the road” for Czarine, and unbeknownst to her…….

Yes, she made it back fine. Did travel armed – she is not anti- defense. She’s no stranger to dealing with problem children, she made a few trips into the old projects to treat patients. Also treated the survivor of a gang shooting that was sequestered in a secret location as members of another thug group were looking to kill him and threatened to kill anyone they found with/aiding him. It’s just that the lack of civilized behavior gets old after a while.

Why are we not hearing wall to wall coverage about Hillary’s violent supporters?

Wendall Pierce arrested for hitting Bernie Sanders Supporter

    http://nypost.com/2016/05/15/wendell-pierce-arrested-for-allegedly-hitting-bernie-sanders-supporter/

A Hillary Clinton-loving actor got into a violent political argument with a female Bernie Sanders supporter — and allegedly wound up hitting the woman in the head outside an Atlanta hotel, according to a report.

Wendell Pierce, who starred in the crime drama “The Wire,” was arrested on battery charges Saturday for assaulting the woman at the Loews Hotel, TMZ reported.

The 52-year-old TV performer, a big Clinton fan, flew into his rage at 3:30 a.m., while discussing the 2016 presidential race with the victim and her boyfriend, the site said.

I met Loretty once back when we lived in Nashville. The company I worked for made uniforms (Red Cap) for Wrangler/Blue Bell. Anyway, I worked in “inventory” and my job was time studies/thread per inch/fabric/labor/storage/shipping/etc. and one of our plants was close to Hurricane Mills. One day a group of 4 of us had to do the annual check of that plant….
So we just dropped by – damned if they all weren’t there. We didn’t do the house tour or anything like that, late 70’s we weren’t rude – and “Coal Miner’s Daughter” wasn’t out yet.
But she couldn’t have been more gracious. A real sweetheart.

Had the urge to try a small bag of ‘Southern Biscuits and Gravy’ potato chips by a major brand that’s been producing boutique-flavor chops of late. Perhaps if the biscuits and gravy were to have been prepared in the service bay at Wally’s Garage but other than that, allI can say is “NEW YORK CITY!!!??”.

    How to manage the news.
Local news is reporting on a fire in a yuppified area of the city that destroyed a home and severely damaged an adjacent house, cIty FD is blaming it on ‘squatters’. If past is prologue and then I’m betting they’re druggies first and foremost.
Where we do have homeless squatters we have a helluva lot of druggies that congregate in empty/abandoned houses. Pre-Katrina the SO had a project that provided great PR as we’d be out there boarding up these ‘crack houses’, press in tow, on an endless basis. There were literally hundreds of them if not thousands. Pre-K estimates were in the tens of thousands of abandoned structures, most quite suitable (not very rigid standards) for druggie squat use. You’d find where they’d broken in, started fires for warmth or whatever in sinks, toilets, bathtubs or buckets. Sometimes you’d see where fires had started where they’d tipped over the rigs they were using to make their drugs injectable.
City doesn’t want to use pejorative terms, squatters is less icky than drug users, just as it’s ‘gun violence’ instead of ‘feral thug activities’. The tourist is supposed to center on the joys the city has to offer, including activities that would get that tourist arrested back home, and not on the fact that the city has more drug users than first responders and politicians combined. Of course the casual tourist can find and purchase drugs far easier than one could a parking space but that’s not on the city’s ‘Welcome’ website. Squatters is such a nice way to put it…

One nice thing about Detroit is that they tend to describe crime as it really is. If an abandoned home burns down due to druggies, they’ll report it.

Not exactly easy to hide the problems there, here we dangle the prospects of a few days of personal anarchy in front of the tourists.

Judt like modt tourista cities. Wife and I can remember the weather folks in Florida reporting light, balmy breezes and cool temperatures when iguanas in the trees were fanning themselves and drinking iced tea. Just the pols putting a positive spin on the problems they’ve created.

I just watched a show called Under the Gun on the Epix channel that we got free this weekend on my cable network. Somehow I got the idea it was pro-gun. Silly me. They talked about Sandy Hook and some other shootings. I would have been more interested in what they had to say if they weren’t using statistics that I am certain are wrong, and terms like “assault rifles” and how everybody now has one, that the NRA (single handedly) stops gun laws from going through Congress, that the politicians are ignoring their constituents who want gun control because of the NRA, and that 90% of the population thinks we should have a gun registry.

Out planting peppers and tomatoes again today, trying to beat the rain. Outside cat was back out there with me, wandering around me as I adjusted the watering lines and moved the straw mulch. There I was, thinking for a moment that he was feeling friendly and appreciating the company, pure anthropomorphism. Suddenly a field mouse shot out from under the straw and made a beeline for the brush – bang, outside cat was right on him, nailed him and carried him back to the garage for a feast. Yup, our primary, if not sole, purpose is to meet their needs; the antibiotics aren’t working on the toxo

Weatherguessers have been on that ‘head for the hills, were agonna flood’ jag for days, they have it down to ‘maybe 3/4 inch’ now. So far it’s breaking down to a fine mist before it gets here, without daytime heating it just ain’t got the punch. Anyway, been dry here for days now with almost Utah-like humidity so anything less than three inches will be welcome.
