Isn’t our world lovely? Thanks for such a beautiful picture Stella. Good morning on this Friday the 13th. We survived a night of storms in my neck of the woods.

Morning Stella, “the Milky Way”. A shame you can only see the river of milk in a few western states due too the light pollution. It’s inspirational, sitting in your observers chair, hot cup of coffee, looking up at tapestry only the Lord can create.

That was always one of my favorite things as a child, growing up in Chicago the stars were lost, but in the summer at our summer house, we could lie on the beach and see the big and little dipper, falling stars, and just enjoy the night sky.

      Beautiful picture Stella 🙂

We get a dark sky here, not as good as the one in the pic but close. We can see the lens of the Milky Way and a sky full of clear, bright stars but we do get sone low-level light pollution from the two towns about 14 miles away. Still infinitely better than in the city where seeing the moon’s difficult, never mind stars.

Good grief. It seems that the filthy cesspool in which the Clintons prosper is ripe with equally grotesque immoral people.

Lemme see…thevtrail of dead bodies behind the Dunamic Duo, the entire Whitewater mess, File Gate, the missing Hillary files found mysteriously sitting on a WH table, the Lewinsky incident, and we can go on…..
They give off an aura that seems to attract the like-disposed, sorta likes flies to a barn. No surprises here.

Carlie Marie Trent rescued by gun toting Americans. Thank you Jesus!

Tennessee girl allegedly abducted by uncle found safe by 2 ‘heroes,’ official says

Gwyn said her safe return came after two men, Donnie Lawson and Roger Carpenter, were checking property as the TBI had asked people to do, when they found Carlie and her uncle on a trail only accessible by four-wheeler vehicles.

Carpenter, a Baptist minister, held Simpson at gunpoint while Lawson called police, according to Gwyn.

“This is a case of two heroes who went on their property to see if, by chance, if they were there, and they were,” he said. “I think this is a clear message to the public that we need your help on these kind of cases.”

Obama Administration’s sending letters to every school district in the US telling them they MUST allow every student to use whichever bathroom and/or locker room they gender-identify with. It isn’t legally binding but noncompliance could lead to a withdrawal of Federal education funds.
Can’t wait for the letters to impact the religious school system. They aren’t in the Fed cash flow but as the letter settles in you know they’ll make it a ‘rights’ issue as thry have birth control for health insurance in relgious-based employer benefit packages. With those students whose frontal
cortexes and decision making processes are not completely formed it’s gonna be interesting to see how they deal with this.

    • Obama needs to be evicted from the Whithouse asap! So sick of this mess. Parents are going to have to homeschool if they want their children to be kept safe from this mess. I look at my tiny little grandbaby and just cringe at the world that will be his. Time for serious prayers to get Trump in and rid our country of the p.c. Garbage being shoved down our throats. Sorry! Rant over.

I was so pleased when my son told me they plan to homeschool my 10 month old granddaughter when the time comes. They have planned this since they married. That was before all this other stuff came out about the schools.

Yeah, it’s a full-time job trying to keep the GGS on track and now with teo GGDs ready to debut it seems the job’s going to take on a new dimension. I think about the GGS going homeschool but for now I’m letting him see the system trying to bend him close-up and personal while I spend time explaining the tactics and redirecting his anger and confusion. I’m either going to have a proactive conservative or a serial killer but then the progs think they’re one in the same so WTF.

    Bravo Haus!

Family dog takes rattlesnake bite for 7-year-old

TAMPA (FOX 13) – His owners call him the perfect dog. Haus is a 2-year-old German Shepard, and usually 68 pounds of loyalty and love, especially when it comes to his 7-year-old, Molly DeLuca. After Haus possibly saved Molly’s life, he’s fighting for his own against deadly rattlesnake venom.

Roger that, dogs don’t think twice about throwing themselves between their people and snakes, so fsr our BD’s dobe it twice. Vets here have a good business treating snake-bit dogs, the mocs are easy but they do sweat those rattler bites. The cat, on the other hand, would out looking for a new home on Craigslist

I can’t stand it. What a faithful, courageous dog. He could have run away after the first bite. I hope he makes it. The child would never have survived.

We wux talkin’ WWII about a week back, Czarina just reminded me of something. We had a neighbor just up the street in NOLA in the 90s who was a WWII vet, and not just any vet. He was a POW but not a POW, he was shot down over the North Sea, was picked up by a Swedish shop and onterred in neutral Sweden. He spent the rest of the war as a guest of the Swedes and as Sweden was neutral the DoD did not consider him a POW per se.
As a non-POW POW he wasn’t, as all other US service members who were lucky enough to make it to a neutral country, allowed access to any POW benefits. He suffered some injuries in the shoot-down that caused problems during his term as a Swedish guest and these injuries followed him for decades. He could get VA care but not as POW, his disability income as a POW could have passed to his wife upon his death but…, no special ed training, no nothing.
He took it to various Senators who made half-hearted stabs but just folded rather than fight the VA’s inevitable ‘no’. He died just after Katrina, still an official non-POW POW.
