Jacqueline, you can’t post pictures from your computer hard drive (C:). It has to be a picture on the internet with a graphic extension (.jpg, .png, etc).
To be sure it will show up, put the address on a separate line by itself.

If you want to post personal pics, you first must copy them to a photo repository like Shutterfly, or (most common) PhotoBucket. You can sign up for free accounts.

TY, Stella! I’m not very computer savvy, but have a lot of fun with it! It’s just a photo of the cutest kitty in the world. I’ll try that photoBucket thing tomorrow.

I think it’s because of the specific FB server(s) the image was served from. I bet the strings following the image name act as hooks for the photo gallery on their site and are needed to display the image. Just won’t work in WordPress.

AAAAAWWWWW! Thank you so much, Stella. You are a doll! Ain’t she cute? She was my Christmas prezzie a few years ago. She’s grown into a Beautiful “Grumpy-Cat” and we couldn’t love her more. Her eyes turned to copper color and her hair is about 4-5 inches long. She is as sweet as she looks, and a good mouser. I also have a rescued ginger moggie named Cooper. They are best buddies and keep each other amused. Again, thanks!
